Well finally after 14 months and 1300 hrs the boat is done. The story starts with an impulse buy of a 1984 ski nautique 2001 on my way home from work. I thought I got a deal but as with most boats from the 80s the stringers were shot. So I slowly started to cut the affected areas from the boat and before I knew it everything was gone floor motor stringers(both primaries and secondaries). This is when the project got fun used a composite fiberboard instead of wood and started from scratch. Only reused the windshield, gas tank and rudder. Well what do you think?

For something different. I figured the platform protects the back of the boat.

How much did the "Correct Craft" and "World Record Towboats" stickers set you back. BTW, love the interior and as others, not enthused about the color choice of the exterior. Needless to say, great job.2001 Air Nautique
