Agreed. We have 5 Gs on our lake. I have never seen a single one besides ours wake boarding. They all surf.

It's definitely taken over here as well, I'm just kind of curious as to it's staying power. The young kids in our area, however, are abandoning wakeboarding and surfing in favor of slalom. Considering their ages, slalom is like an emerging sport, since they grew up boarding. It's funny, my 12 year nephew and his crew rip on boarding and surfing as being slow and boring, and dinosaur sports. A decade ago, I was the one being ripped on as a dinosaur by the kids.

I agree that this new MC looks like a glorified party barge, at least from the marketing. There's no question what the G's are intended for.

Strange video for marketing purposes (of a boat). I agree, it looks like a destination marketing piece.

TDC-Worm, I didn't realize that you were on Lake Austin. Hit me up some time. (I also cannot stand surfers at 7 am on my butta).

I'm not sure what all the hype is about on the hot mom.... Maybe my standards are to high, but i'm not seeing it in her. I really don't like the boat either.

No competition for the G, IMO...I still can't get past the folding wierd tower!!!!!

I don't think the boat looks that bad. Doesn't get me excited but at least it's different. The press release says pretty straight up surf specific. And they classify the wake as "recreational". Where as the xstar is "competition". I'm not selling my G,,,

Crad...Yeah...my comment was more toward the boat being ugly than it was mom being "super" hot...lol I give her a 6 hot...4 crazy...on the graph. She does get points for driving a boat.....lol

I first watched on my phone and didn't realize that there were 3 videos and only watched the first surf one. I was like, "what hot mom?" I saw 1 second of three women sitting at the beach (in the first video). That said, the woman on the far left at 3:46 of the first video is way hotter than that "hot mom" in the second video.

Agreed. "Hot" mom had weird face going on. Nonetheless, anyone can board behind a boat with a regular surf board. Wish I had pics of my '14 230 with 4k ballast to REALLY show what a Nautique can do.

The woman at 3:46 that Chexi pointed out is hot. Like Nordicron says, maybe not to you young guys.

Maybe it's me but nealy all Mastercraft boats look the same from the side. Yes, they are nice but they have more work to do in my opinion.

Looks like a nice boat. Wave looks decent. I would not turn down a surf behind one. But no competition for G23! We all know that the G23 is God's gift to boating. Lol

The G23 was and is an industry leader. The others are now trying to catch up. First there was the Tige ASR and now there is an X23.

SE is not in the same class IMO. 2/3 of the SE's ballast is bags that take up 50% of your storage. In order for me to consider it G competition, I think it needs to have 2500+ ballast, that is not PnP bags.....

Was talking with the local supra dealer the other day, and he said that the "G killer" is on it's way. 23' Version of the SC, by the sounds. Not sure how that is killing any Gs.....
