I'm thinking it is now? At least that's what I understood it to be on the 2017's. It comes with a cooler but I think it is insulated in the floor now too.

30 bucks and a couple hours work well worth it. I like making things better even if it was 100k plus boat. I know this much I dont have a cooler in the middle of the floor and itsworking pretty good!! Had ice in still today about 24 hours later.... its not a 100 degrees out yet but I would assume it works as good as any igloo type cooler. I still haven't decided on weather striping but all in all pretty dang happy I did it. Thanks Swankster for talkin me into it!

We did the same thing on my brother's 2007 SV-211. The cooler is over on the side under the cushion behind the driver. There was no insulation around it at all and the engine heat would melt all the ice out in no time. We filled in all around and under it with foam insulation. It made a HUGE difference.Originally posted by Neverenough View PostMines a 15 and was not done. So far it was worth the time.

@Schwiing - That's good to know. Maybe I should email Nautique and tell them to correct their 2017 G23 Product Walk Through video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_YRWVnayf0 cut to 10:30.. But easy enough to take care of yourself.

Has anyone used the AO soft-pack 38 cooler? Saw a few reviews on Amazon from Malibu owners saying that the height and other dimensions were perfect for their boats.

I have a G21 being built, so bought one in hopes that it'll be a good fit for under one of the seats.
