Jeff,
I guess the new owner got to choose! Is that Reef or another blue/teal? I've got to admit, the teal color(s) are growing on me...I'm wondering though if those colors will be the 80's/90's equivalent of the purple/teal/pink thing?2008 230 TE-ZR6

I rather see flake colors as an accent or for a color touch. I would choose it for the forward stripe and I would play with graphyte grey, white or black and with the star colors

I saw that blue G23 at Surf Expo. Everytime I walked by, All I could say was WOW! The color was like a magnet. I was with a group of guys that claimed to be Mastercraft GEN 2 or Malibu Surfgate diehards... They all stepped inside that boat. The brushed gray accents were spot on.

Good luck with resale on that boat. Jeff, at least you don't have to worry about it. Someone ordered the same color set up from Buxton on a 210 and backed out if it. They have had it on their floor for over a year now unable to move it. And you know they get a lot if traffic through there.

That color and the graphics on the 210 from Buxton isn't a great combo. Where as the color and the graphics on the g23 flows alot better.Originally posted by cedarcreek216 View PostGood luck with resale on that boat. Jeff, at least you don't have to worry about it. I also feel you are talking about 2 differnet class of boats.
The 210 being a entry level BMW, Audi, etc... More safe common colors.
The G23 is the Lamboorghini of wake boats!
The people that buy new g23's aren't concerned about resale.

I understand, but the ultimate owner is not buying a new boat and is no doubt getting the boat for close to the price of a 2014 special order 210. There is no denying the reef blue is a love it or hate it color, it's not a scheme that someone will be on the fence about and just deal with like the difference between red and navy blue. I can see someone saying a red boat is such a good deal I'll deal with it if their number one choice was a navy blue boat. Can't see that happening with a reef blue boat with a reef blue deck. It's a lot to take in.Originally posted by Silver Surf View PostThat color and the graphics on the 210 from Buxton isn't a great combo. Also have to disagree with your analogy of class difference, it's a styling difference. So you are telling me if we spend $92k on a new 210 we probably can buy a new G? I would agree if you are making the comparison between a different brand or a 10 year old boat, but if you can afford a $92k toy you can afford a $115k toyOriginally posted by Silver Surf View PostThat color and the graphics on the 210 from Buxton isn't a great combo. Kinda a crappy pic, but here is our Reef Blue G23. Truth be told my wife and daughter really dig it (I was on the fence) and we have had A TON of complements on it. As you see, our tower matches instead of black and our interior is grey with grey SeaDek. OUrs was in dealer stock and with all the new color options, I don't think I would even care to try and design a boat any longer. Reef Blue is one of those colors that you really have to see in person, I have yet to see a pic (this one included) that really looks the same as when you see it in real life. To each their own and the person that worked with Jeff is lucky to be able to design their boat, order it and know what they will be paying for it as a "used" boat.
