The hull side is definitely a little Malibu-ish but I like the clean graphics. Maybe they will still offer the Griffin and Shield graphics like they offer the Progressive and standard graphics on the 200. The colored deck is definitely a cool option that I am glad they finally brought back. The new Graphite Grey, Reef Blue and Green Metal Flake colors look great. The pics of the Reef Blue G23 I saw floating around looks awesome. I’m not as sure about the Voltaic Yellow or Purple Metal Flake but I am sure some people will like them.

As others have said it is very disappointing that they got rid of the reversible back seat but the transom walkthrough on the 210 is a nice touch that I have wanted to see for a while. Plug N Play ballast is another good new option but if I was ordering new I would probably plumb that myself for a fraction of the cost since I doubt that will be a cheap option.

The length and width dimensions are exactly the same and I don’t think the running surface changed too much so I bet the wakeboard wakes should be about the same as they have been. All along I had heard that the running surface was not changing at all but at least on the 210 it looks like they added some strakes in the aft section that match up with the NSS so I wouldn’t be surprised if the surf wave has been improved.

Do these boats still have Hydro Gate or did they switch to NCRS?

I don’t know too many people that hang their boats so lifting rings are probably no longer standard and I like the clean look without them. If you need them I think they are still an option because if you download the brochure it actually shows the lifting ring spacing for both boats. http://nautique.com/documents/brochu...0-brochure.pdf

I heard the hull is basically identical but there is a small change to flatten the area where the hydrogate is so the hull doesn't have a little step there which is suppose to help reduce the wash while surfing. Otherwise, the hull is suppose to be the same.

I was wondering the same thing...but the photo of the NSS shows what looks like start of the same downward step/bulge as in previous year models.

Middle of the second row of photos:

I find the new exterior quite bland...I miss the Nautique star/decals on the side. I guess that's why the photos include such bright colors...to add some visual punch.
Definitely looks like they are creating some space in the 210 line to add a G21 that has the "wow" factor. Still, from a spec standpoint, the new 210 and 230 are phenomenal boats.

The hydrodynamics of the hull should be the same but they are both definitely new. You can see from the pictures that the step where the top stripe used to be is gone. The "graphic" is actually gel coat and is raised off the main surface of the hull. Also, it looks like there is a recess in on the transom so that the new NSS covers would fit under the platform.

There is still a step and hydrogate on the 210's. Hard to tell if a step in the 230 pics, but there is a hydrogate lever in the photo of the "Nau-teak" flooring pic.

I love the new graphics/colors/redesign. For me, I never could get into the wild side decals; seemed a little too teenage focused. I think the new look is a lot classier; something I would be proud to own.

just wish they'd activated the build your nautique feature.....I know they have it ready to go, what's with the delay. Should've rolled it all out together like Mastercraft did with the X46

I should clarify; I'd be proud to own any nautique--it's the boat not the decals!

The '14 G's are already out, there was one on a trailer at the Gravel Tour in Orlando this past weekend.
