Ballast Setup

Adding ballast to my 236. We usually surf on the starboard side, but occasionally someone will use the port. After talking to Wakemakers, I was planning on adding 1100's in the back on both sides and the 650 integrated bow sack, plumbing them in with my factory tanks. Has anyone had any problems with the 1100's in the back, would 750's be adequate and fit easier? I've read all the relevant threads I can find. Planning to order tommorow, any wisdom/warnings appreciated.

Since you're planning to use them for surfing there shouldn't be an issue with the engine compartment divider boards (some guys have asked about reinforcing them for use in WB -- but in surf mode, the list of the boat will push them away from the divider)

Thx. for the DIM's, I'll measure to be sure. That's good info about not needing to reinforce the divider boards. I was worried about that but your right they will be falling away from the engine.

Everthing measured out. Comtacted Wakemakers, super helpful and EZ to deal with. Will post the post install pics hopefully this weekend

Hey GoGop,

I simply added square tubing to the existing frame in my 230. It was worth it to me, I watched my divider flex pretty bad when I would take on waves even surfing. Only took me 20 mins and 20 bucks to have comfort.
