Today I went to the Birmingham Boat show and Mastercraft, Nautique and Malibu were there. After getting inside of a few MC's (including the Xstar) and some Nautiques and some Wakesetters, no boat even holds a candle to the G23. The G23's interior is way better thought out, and the storage us ridiculous! I could crawl in and lay flat on my back in the rear locker and I am 5'8 145 pounds. A lot of you guys said you had more room in your 210 than the Xstar and I didnt believe you until now. The Xstar's Interior is terrible, It is small, uncomfortable and not well thought out. I will give the Xstar, however, that the bow seats are ridiculously comfortable, and the boat is an altogether good looking boat. Malibu was actually way better than I expected as well, the 22 MXZ is an amazing boat! I was pleasantly surprised by Supra too. My favorite boats from the show in order went 1. G23 2. 22MXZ 3. SAN 230 4. Xstar 5. Supra 242.
Overall here are my pros and cons:
Nautiqe: best in show but I didnt love the dash layout and the seats need more color
Mastercraft: Great looking boat but needed more functionality and more room
Malibu: My second choice and had the best dash design I've seen
Supra: Great boat but needs a better look
MB: Mastercraft wanna-be's but not a bad boat
Tige': Great boat and has VERY cool interior lighting setup and the easiest to use touch screen interface but I've heard the wake isnt fantastic
the saddest part about the xstar is.. with as little storage as it has - remember that there's only 1400lbs under the floor, so ALL that storage has to be filled with bags.
