Ohh I know it was said, I was just referring to when I guessed at a 23 footer in a post and everyone responded "no its a bigger boat than that." And here we have it, the G23.Current Boat: 2007 Super Air Nautique 220 Team Edition
Former Boat: 2003 Air Nautique 216 Team Edition
Former Boat: 1994 Ski Nautique

I would be very, very happy with the 230. I don't think the G23 is aimed at the same person at all. I think it is aimed at sniping the X-Star buyers, and the boat looks more like a Tigé than anything else. Absolutely does not look like a Nautique except perhaps in the graphics package. I, like everyone, studied the photos on wakeworld like crazy when they were up this afternoon and first impression is so negative I don't even want to talk about it.Originally posted by tgator96 View PostSo my question is, how do the people feel who--like me--have either taken deliver of a 2012 SAN 230 or have one on order?
Ehhh...
-high looking gunwales
-blunt nose
-squat stern, small platform
Those are facts as far as I am concerned. I have nothing good to say about the boat (except that is is a Correct Craft and I love Correct Craft).Last edited by Orbiter; 03-29-2012, 06:54 PM.

Why did you take the pictures off? Is this a fan site or owned by correct craft? I think you should have left them on. Ultimately, who were you trying to serve? The guy who posted was trying to get us the pictures, did he have any other motivation?Last edited by scottb7; 03-29-2012, 08:15 PM.

this site has a great relationship with CC and to participate in an undesired early reveal would hurt that relationship. Jeff runs a clean site, which is a big reason it's as popular as it is.

While it is a fan site, It is in the best interest of any forum to maintain a good relationship with the manufacturer. When the manufacturer wants the pictures to remain private until a certain date, it's only the respectful thing to do to honor that request. And he is actually serving us by maintaining a good working relationship with Correct Craft. We don't want to have a site owned or controlled by the manufacturer - just look at MC teamtalk, you are not allowed to be critical of the MC brand at all, however you can criticize any other brand at will.Originally posted by scottb7 View PostWhy did you take the pictures off? As far as the magazine pictures go - pictures are released early to magazines on a regular basis, they need the magazine to have the pictures for publication as close to the release date as possible (magazines have a lead time of between 30 and 60 days) - remember they have to keep the hype up.

As much as I understand that, I see no maliciousness towards the site, or correct craft from the guy who posted the pics. He asked for them to be taken down. Him being banned because of that is rediculous IMO. Completely unnecessary considerering he complied to the best of his ability.

At the time I was notified of the pictures, I was walking around Sea World with my family. Not really having the time to communicate with the poster about the circumstances at the time, I quickly removed the pictures and temporarily banned him using my mobile phone to keep him from reposting them. The ban is set to expire soon after 3/31/2012. While I do take pride in providing information to the community as early as possible, I cannot and will not risk my relationship with Correct Craft to provide that information by means of leaked information that was basically stolen from a publication that has not yet been made public. Posting the pictures violated the site terms of use in that the pictures were obtained by questionable means, quite possibly illegal. I am not saying that our member obtained them illegally, but someone got them in an unethical manner, and I will not allow that type of content here.Originally posted by TRDon View PostAs much as I understand that, I see no maliciousness towards the site, or correct craft from the guy who posted the pics. If I had a 230 on the way...I would be STOKED!!!Originally posted by tgator96 View PostSo my question is, how do the people feel who--like me--have either taken deliver of a 2012 SAN 230 or have one on order?
Unless you're a pro looking to rewrite the history books with some super duper riding, then I'm sure the 230 will more than exceed your expectations in every way.
I know my 210 does
