    Perfect Pass-'02 SAN

Just wondering if anyone is aware of whether or not Planet Nautique members receive any discount when purchasing a new PP unit. If so, who I might speak to about ordering one.

Secondly, I have been doing some research for which model I should order for my new to me 2002 SAN but I am still fairly inexperienced and would appreciate any help.

I can not respond to wether we get a discount or not. Maybe someone else would have the answer to that.

I upgraded my pp to wakeboard pro after the original one that was in the boat stopped working or displaying anything. I ride on a river that has current, so I went with the non gps one because that was what pp recommended. I already had the paddle wheel on my boat so it was simple to upgrade. I'm pleased with how mine works, but can't speak for gps based units. Just thought I would share my experience.

I take it your boat does not have perfect pass then? No question go with stargazer wake edition, it's awesome.

I have no idea why the perfect pass rep would not recommend gps because of current that makes zero sense to me , perhaps they just meant a simple chip upgrade might be of better value rather than spending the 700+ it would take to upgrade a perfect pass in an 02 since they only have a single line display and would need a multi line display as well as the stargazer upgrade kit

For what it's worth I just bought a new multi line display and the chip upgrade for my 02 sante, I wanted a new display to matchy new custom gauges

For the most part I will be riding up at my cottage but some weekends I will be at the local river, which is fairly strong every day due to our location.Anyhow, when I bought the boat the gauges were updated to the new Faria analogue digital gauges without the PP. Sounds like it would be best to contact PP directly to see what there opinion is. Thanks guys

Unless they have significantly improved the workings, GPS based PP is virtually useless IMHO in a tidal/flowing river.
I ride on a river that averages 2-3mph current. It is a pain in the backside having to adjust the speed dependant on which way you are towing in my mates 220 with stargazer.
Wakeboard Pro (Paddle Wheel) in my 05 210 is absolutely perfect 100% of the time.
