Help picking colors 2012 200

I have 2 midnite blue promo boats. They are a bit lighter in person vs the computer version. Both sold very easy.

my OB 200 should be arriving in 4 weeks.

I went for metallic silver hull, red flake top deck, and midnight blue hull bottom and platform with sheer graphics.

how does rope scratch transom? bit confused here

The rope scratches the transom just buy having the rope sliding over the back of the gel coat. This usually happens when you are circling around to pick up a skier who has fallen or as the rope goes out of the boat. The scratches are hard to see on the white but with a colored deck they are a lot more visible. Unless you put a protective film like Clemson Dave does it is pretty hard to prevent. Metal flake may hide some of the scratches due to the flakes and the clear coat is what i have seen and also been told.

Here is what I decided on. Thanks for all the help. Main interior stripe is Gun Metal Flake with Orange pin stripe.

You will really like the gunmetal interior as it looks much better in person that the builder shows.

6.0 L engine? I don't see those in many promo boats. Is it upfront cost or fuel economy?

The 6L is pretty pricey on the up front cost. Not sure about resale. Fuel economy isn't much different from what I hear.

Tracyad-is that silver or gunmetal on the hull? What about the main strip on the vinyl? Boat looks awesome. Th extra cost for the metal flake was worth it!

It is gunmetal. The silver is a ton lighter. The main stripe on vinyl (darkest color) is also gunmetal that has metallic in it as well and wanted to share the pics with Dave. My piping color is the metallic silver as I wanted it to blend in.

Excited to see Dave's boat when he gets it. Never seen an orange one yet.

I guess that pretty much rules out the Volunteer edition, and I was going to talk to you about purchase later.....J/K post some pics up after you pick her up, I'm sure it will look awesome...even if it is the wrong orange.
