Teach them to hold a handle and the tube is history.

Similar here. My youngest (8 years old) started out tubing and riding the surf board on her knees. I got here out twice last year on the wakeboard but that was because I told her she had too. This year we sold our big tube and she was upset.........but this is a pic of her wakeboarding this year (pretty good form for her second time on the board this year and 4th time in total)

She hasn't even asked about the tube now and says she loves wakeboarding and surfing!!!!

        Thanks

Thanks for the candid responses. I told the kiddos no tube till you learn how to ski. My wife got in the water and my 10 yr old was up sking and crossing the wake within 20min. My 7yr old got up after about 15min of trying and my 5yr old got up for about 5 seconds after about 15 min of falling. I still had to get the tubes out for tube battles when thier friends came over so I can pull 5 at once and get it over with. Thanks again.

YEA! for kids skiing! keep encouraging them. Kids learn skills needed to ski really quickly.

You might have the next Nate Smith, or Karina Nowlan on your hands. Or maybe a waterski scholarship to Rollins College.

Teach their friends to ski, also.
