Delta Prop Discount for Members is not 20% as we have in our Sticky... !

I just called Delta and was trying to get the 20% discount for forum members... its not 20% anymore.. FYI...
Its 5%... their reasons are that Acme lowered the MAP price, therefore they dont need to give 20% anymore to be competitive.
It is now 5% and someone should change that info in our Sticky Note!

I had the same problem three weeks ago but they told me it was 20 bucks off the "new low price" or temporary sale. The price was lower than 20% off the old price, though.

It's marketing and the economy. They had to offer 20% off standard retail because Acme had a MAP policy. I am familiar with those through our business. But now that Acme has eased it's advertise restrictions they don't need to offer 20% anymore. Their lower price may make up for it but we (admin) needs to change the sticky so others are not confused. They still have a good price and they still offer a 5% to our forum so it's ok. But not 20% like the sticky says.

No matter how it is presented, I shopped props and they were the best price.

Even ski dim with the secret 12% code didn't come close.

Again, my discount was 20 bucks, not 5%. They probably tinker with it. Perhaps PN shouldn't state the amount...just that we get something and the offer may vary.

I checked on an Acme #1234 4-blade, $540 prop... discount code DP9PNA, -$27 savings... I called them to confirm because I thought it was 20% (-$108) and she told me they changed it to 5% for forum members. 5% on a $400 prop is $20 (if thats what you were looking at). They do have the best price and free shipping still.. no one on the web compares that I can find. So use them for sure...

They are already 20% below retail. I doubt you can get a better deal anywhere.
