Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, I don't think the Byerly edition comes with the newer tower. I think when he designed it he prefered the traditional tower with mounting points to the hull compared to the newer 2 mounting points.
Obviously I am not up to date on the models for the towers.
Yep, that's EBev's Byerly. I was just on that boat a week ago today. When I spoke with him last week, he told me he chose that boat based off of his use of the PN/WLM SANTE 210 last year at the Murray Clinic at White Lake. He could have gotten a 230 and chose the 210 because he liked how the PN boat performed during that clinic.

boat is just sick ... on a side note, it would be awesome if someone made/sold platforms offering custom designs burnt into it, like "legacy" is on this one

looks good, but not interested in putting that kind of work into one. was more referring to the burnt in design idea, which artistically i couldnt do on my own anyway

According to Byerly, all they did for the original one was etch the byerly logo in and then go back and hit the recessed areas with a blowtorch. It doesn't seem like it would be all that much work, but I don't think I would try it.
I'd try it but I probably wouldn't do it that way. I'd cut a piece of metal to the design I wanted, heat it up and then burn the wood with it... kind of like you'd brand a cow.
One good thing about working with metal is that the design you make now can be changed incase you make a mistake. You just need to know how to weld and cut.
How the teak platform on the Byerly boat is make would be simple to make, the work would be in the burn design.
