Changed my first impeller, filter, and oil. Very easy. Super easy even. Next will do v drive and trans and FCC. DIY is so great. Last couldn't even follow the belt picture.

is good stuff, i love doing everything to my boat also. is really the only way for you to know its right ... did you drain your v drive thru the dipstick? if so, were you able to get it all out? was just curious
