Yeah I spoke with Adam Wensink he works in design. He said its should happen in the later part of the year. They have to slide it forward to its original spot and that what their working on. So we'll see. I can't stand the fct5. I told him that's what's stopping me from ordering an '11.

Any chance of getting one with the fct4? I think without a bimini, that one looks the best.

I beg to differ, ha ha. FCT3 and the Z5 is the best looking combo Ive ever seen. He didnt mention anything on the FCT4. I wonder why they didnt keep the FCT3 design for '11. You of thought they could of found a way to make it collapse to 7ft.

I like the fct3 with the Z5, but I think it looks naked without it. Being that I don't want the Z5, I would prefer to have the option of a 4 legged tower.

Nothing like dating your brand new boat, that should help with resale.

I don't see how you can like the FCT 3 (last generation) and not love the new FCT 5. It's so much cleaner.
Just my thoughts. It's completely out of the drivers way now, you can actually reach out to the dock or talk to your rider without anything in the way.

I would think that giving the boat a different look would have a much greater effect on resale. That and since most boat owners put less than 50 hrs on their boats per year (I am sure nautique owners are ahead of that curve), I wouldnt think that earlier or late in the production year would have much effect on the resale

I might not, but again it might. Any die hard Nautique fan will know by looking at the graphics, hull shape, tower, what model year the boat is, in this case the hull has not changed so if it had an FCT3 on it you would think that your 2011 could be a 09' or '10. (except for the graphics)
But it's all a matter of taste. Everyone is different.

                      I personally love the FCT3...

My dealer had not heard that the FCT3 would still be available, but only that there were a few leftover fct3's floating around out there that were being put on a few select 2011's.

JC, I don't know man it just looks a lot bulkier where it mounts to the boat (which

doesn't look right) and how the speakers and boards racks mount just looks to weird.

The tower its self looks to retro. I do agree that the FCT3 looks naked

                        without the Z5 but with it . . . DYNO-MITE!

Ya it's for sure more angular on the base because of where it folds, which I dig, but I don't think it's much if any larger/longer where it mounts. If you look at all the accents like the chrome grills and the polished plates you can see they are really trying to tie it in with the boat. Like it belongs on a super air. I think when the new bimini is released it might get some more love.

Chatt, Adam stated it was definitely possible and that it would have to specially

ordered and that it would require a deposit. I didn't really get the feeling that they were

going to make it an option but if sales don't go good who knows. I trusted what he said

because he works in the design of the boat.

CC is still making the FCT3 for the new sport 200 correct? or will this be a different size?

It's the ski tower, which is a smaller version.
