the tower seems low in this pic, however, if you look closer to the guy standing up, he is standing on the back seat that is reversable and the back also lays down with non slip on the back, he is clearly standing on that, look where is knees are in comparison to the deck.

also, just fyi...I have a FCT 4 and you could claim all the same issues as the above. I had it right next to a 2011 210 when I went in for service. so same issue with the racks, line of sight etc...... Actully the FCT 5 provides a much clearer line of sight from the driver's seat.

finally, my FCT 4 is a bear to fold down with one person as well as it rests on the interior, which i had to rig up a special hoist in my garage as I did not want the tower and racks resting on the interior. from a pure function perspective, i like the FCT 5, and as we all love/hate it, the industry is moving toward a 2 point tower mount and away from the 4 point of yester year.

just my opinion. also i did not care for the FCT 3 when I ordered mine, hence the FCT 4...now i kinda wished i had the FCT 3. hind sight is 20/20. again, everyone is different and has their own likes and dislikes. I think the resounding thing that comes to my mind on all of these issues is you still can't beat a Nautique either way you look at it.
reeder....got any bigger pics of your 210? it looks nice!

            Wow. You've found a trailer/tower combination that actually allows a 210 to fit in a 7ft garage....and it looks awesome...very nice.

What kind of trailer is that?

we need a throwback price point boat. the same one we have all mentioned before on the old 210 hull, old school graphics/gel, perfect pass, 4 legged tower, simple trailer, regular no reversible interior. it ain't gonna happen, but we can dream.

Thank you! It fits, barely! I had a 2005 SAN that easily fit, the new beam is a little wider and it's a tight squeeze but fits. The trailer is a Road Runner out of Lewsiville, Texas. Buxton Marine here in Dallas uses them primarily for thier trailers.

Bingo. Sadly, I dont think CC will ever do this for three reasons.

                    1. Mastercraft already does this with the old X-star, and calls it an X-1. CC in my opinion tries to not follow others line-up schemes.

                    2. A good number of folks actually prefer the old 210 wake. CC would have a mess on their hands if the old 210 started outselling the new 210 by a wide margin.

                    3. Production capacity. Unless the dealers I have talked to are full of crap, CC is close to full capacity on their production schedules. Adding a pricepoint boat will just take production shifts away from larger, more profitable boats.

Finally, do we really think its possible for CC to do anything cost efficient at this point? I love their boats, both old and new, but $85,000 list on a 21ft boat thats lightly optioned? Thats ridiculous.

Exactly! I've seen an inventory list on leftover boats and the dealer is paying about 30K off of MSRP for those boats!!!! WTF That shows how much markup there is!

Hayden, saw your boat at Rollo's, the colour is awesome! I liked the tower way more than I thought I would and actually prefer it over the FCT3...very well built and finished, and the two fold settings is clever. Boat will look sweet with the Z5 and racks!! Enjoy....
