On other threads considering customer service CC has spoken up, where are they on this thread??? Do they not understand that, as a family of boat owners, they are doing more harm to the brand by not stepping up to the plate? Granted I bought my boat used, but in doing so, I believed that the quality control of CC was second to none and I would be getting a quality product. Granted, my boat has been exceptional, but if they cannot stand behind their new product, what will keep me coming back for my next purchase. Losing ten thousand dollars (if even that) t fix a "lemon" seems like a small price to pay to continue the JD power and assoc't et etc awards that each dealer seems so proud to advertise. In this economy, there myst be several 2010s that are still on dealer lots (I know that I have seen several at century marine here in phoenix). A replacement seems would be the most fair option. And that doesnt even take into account a lost season. ACT, you are much more tolerant than I would or could ever be in this situation. Other than consulting an attorney, you could also discuss your situation on air with news stations etc. I know that I have seen more than a few disagreements (similar situations) dealt with that way here in arizona. Overall, it may hurt the CC brand as a whole to ge tnegative publicity, but we have your back (or at lease I do) until this gets resolved. Stand firm with your expectations, and make them stand by their brand

Let's be careful with this. The last thing we want to do is start a war against CC; I've seen it time and time on various forums with cars, skis, etc. That will put them in a corner which is never a good situation.
I have spoken with both parties and everyone wants to do the right thing. It just needs some time to work out. It is a bad situation all the way around and I assure you CC is very concerned about it.Promo Team member

Dave is exactly right. Let the situation get resolved. Don't assume you have all of the facts if you aren't a party directly involved in a situation. Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. While I would love to help everyone, I simply do not have time to respond to all of the inquiries. Please post your questions on the forum, so that all of our members have a chance to answer.

I may have come across too strong in my last post, and for that I apologize. Long bad day yesterday probably had something to do with it. But that being said, even without knowing what CC's side of the story is here, I do stand by the fact that the customer should be given the chance for the same boat at the same price. I do not know all of the facts, but in most situations I am going to err on the side of the consumer. I admit to completely being biased, but that is the great thing about forums, they are all about opinion.Eric, Phoenix AZ

Just a guess, but I'm betting CC has/is resolving, and part of the deal is to take this out of the public domain.
Probably appropriate on both parties part, however it would seem in CC's best interest to, at the least, let it be known that the parties have reached a satisfactory solution.
I'd really like to think that this was just a case of Murphy's law in terms of CC's handling of the situation (anything and everything went wrong) and they've now got their arms around this and made certain their consumer is satisfied. After all, that's the reputation they've built for themselves and what I'm thinking most of us here are expecting they'll do.
Just my 2 cents.....

Again, I will ask everyone to wait for this to be resolved without thinking you know the whole story. There is more to this than most of you know. I am sure the final outcome will be posted at some point. Correct Craft is doing the right thing to help actman get this issue taken care of. Some would say they have been more than fair. Wait and see what the final outcome is.Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. I do not think anyone is claiming to know the whole story, and people are just forming opinions with the information at hand. We are all passionate about our boats, and this passion is feeding through in this post. I will say that there has been more than enough opportunity for CC to contribute information to this incident. I am sure that there is corporate policy in place etc that prevents them from doing this, but that is also why there are some very concerned boat owners (change from corporate from family owned, etc). I will say that I am glad that this forum allows dissenting opinions, etc. unlike the mastercraft forums. But that being said, until CC decides to interject on their own accord, or the original poster comes out and voices the solution being "more than fair", curiosity is going to trump all. I am sure that all of us would agree that the best way to limit dissatisfaction (in business, personal, etc) is to give the facts with transparency. We are not entitled to an answer, but if CC does have concerns re: how they are being viewed by their consumers they may want to give us one. Just my 0.02.Eric, Phoenix AZ

I agree.
Nobody but the owner is claiming to know anything more than what is posted here.
The ball is in CC's court to make it right, and I hope that as soon as it is resolved, that actman posts up the results.
As someone who buys millions of dollars a year worth of equipment for a living as a buyer, I am very familiar with QC and issues that need resolution. It is up to the manufacturer to make good.

Jeff - You created this public forum as a way to express public opinions, seek answers, and brag about the products that we all so dearly love, Correct Craft Boats. For you to suppress these comments in a post such as the one above, and give an indication that you know more about this than others, seems a little disingenuous and I believe damages the integrity of this forum.
Sorry, just my opinion. Whew! I feel better.

My point isn't to degrade the openness of PN. My point is that only one side of the story is known here. Whether Correct Craft chooses to publicly announce what they are doing for actman is up to them. I have no idea if there is a final outcome yet, and if so, what that outcome is. I am just reminding everyone that we're only hearing one side of this story. It is never wise to make strong statements when only part of the story is known. Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat.
