ok been checking out a boat on ebay...i was under the impression from previous post that the snap in carpet did not arrive in the SANTE until 07...however this listing is listed as an 06 i have asked the seller to confirm the year he insists its an 06 and i may be wrong...and i should prolly just let it go but im anal about things like that...also if i consider buying it want to make sure im looking at the right boat...anyway any feed back would be great

Nope, that's an '06 for sure. Look at the dash. Those are '06 and earlier gauges.

Their 400 HP engine rating is just plain wrong though. The ZR6 was 375 HP in 2006. It went to 390 in 2008, and 409 in 2009.

well then that takes care of that...so i can buy an 06 with snap in carpet...just curious though was the snap in an option in 06...as it will widen my search criteria

I thought the 06 was the last year for the old style hull . That boat has the new hull and the 07 rear seat. Maybe a late 06 or a early 07?

CE there a lot of people with a lot of knowledge on this site. Lots of us have had several Nautiques/Boats.

I'm not sure I can put my finger on the exact year for Snap in Carpet, Just thinking out loud here are my thoughts, 2004 with the 211 coming out (out in the first edition of the 04 catalog. The boat came out in June and they had a sublimit, next would have been the 06 220 followed by the 236/230 in 07. This is just off the top of my head. You would need to look in the brochures to confirm (let me know if I'm wrong).

I too would be looking at a 230/236(07 same boat) over a 220. If I didn't have my 210 I would have a 230.

The last two digits of the HIN (Hull Identification Number) are the model year.
Example My boat, CTC 70344 J697
My boat is a 1997 model.
It was made in October of 1996.

2006 220 based on gauges and previous posts - get the CC hull number and it will confirm

2006 220 had snap carpet
2006 210 did not

You could also see it on the tower. The bar where the Flight Clips are on is different then on the 2007. So 100% sure for a 2006 model year.
