Seat design in 02 SANTE

Whats the deal is with the rear seat in the 02; mine are coming apart at the seams. It seems like a really bad design and I've seen the same thing on other 02s. There is a major seem in the middle of the seat that's just pulling apart. Is anyone else having this problem or have any ideas on what to do short of having someone rebuild the foam and then new upholstery?

The seats in the 2001 and 2003 are different and don't seem like they would have the same problem.

I bought a used 2002 SAN last year. I am meticulous and treat my seats with 303 Protectant frequently and they are all splitting at the seam too. The guy I bought the boat from seemed to have taken good care of the boat too.

The way the seats are setup everyone steps right in the middle putting all the stress on that main seam. My boat was very well cared for too but it gets used; sun and use will over time wear down even the best. They are getting re-done with new foam this winter. I haven't priced it out yet, but I'm not looking forward to it.
