Has anyone heard what the changes will be or will everything stay the same. I am looking to upgrade my 2002 196 to a 2010 model. Hopefully they will not change the graphics because I have one picked out that I would like to custom order.
You've got to be kidding. 20 ft. long ok open bow not so ok. I just can't see CC not building a closed bow tournament boat. I know they probably don't sell a ton but who cares it is how they are defined.
I will never own an open bow 196.
When will we get some more data on the 2010. Don't they usually go into production around the end of June or July?

SNMike has made it clear CC will not discontinue making a closed bow and he is very convincing. If there is a new 20 ft ski boat coming, it might be a good bet CC will use the same hull for both closed and open bows as MC does with their 190/197. Seems this would make it easier for their promo buyers to sell each year while not alienating the closed bow market.
cotton, I hope you are correct. I don't know what the 6 inches in greater length will add to the current boat. If the wakes stay the same the I would have no issues with the added length. I hope we here something soon.
The 200 is a whole new model, the 196 will remain the same from what I hear. The 200 I am told is very sleak with tons of storage and a tower option.
I guess it's Andy's new baby.
Boat was shown to media last Thursday (June 11th) - talked to some folks at last weekend's Big Dawg regarding the boat - they are pleased w/ what they've seen. Details should be coming out soon.

Hey All,
Had the opportunity to go see the new boat.....go through it with all the R & D team, Andy and crew. WOW.....WOW.....WOW..... In today's world where it seems like companies are just trying to hang on, Correct Craft has really stepped up for the new Ski. I'm sure they will be releasing photos / info on the boat over the next few days....and if not, I'll see what I can get. It truly is going to be worth the wait. Also saw a video of Parrish running 41 off behind it that Andy had shot while some people were there. One thing that jumped out also....much smoother transitions behind the boat. Also at slower speeds much cleaner wake for juniors. Lots of room inside it...and the drivers console....well, I'll wait till they send the photos. You will not believe how they have implemented so many things that "seem obvious", that no one has ever done before. WOW.....They are going to sell alot of these this year!! CLOSED and OPEN Bow. Same platform...same record capabilities.... Stay tuned.
