I am always thinking of ways to customize my boat and make it unique. Below is the list of ways that I have made my boat "My Boat". What have you added to your boat that was not a factory installed option? I am looking for inspiration for new projects.

I've done upgrades to the stereo and trailer, add perfect pass sg, new decals and pin striping, rocket launcher etc., but haven't felt too compelled to mess with it apart from that. Brad, I mentioned one of these the other day, but ...

(1) drag wheels for the trailer.
(2) heated driver's seat (I still may actually do this one). I have a link to a great walk through on this project if you're interested.

My 210 was the boat that I modified the most. The big projects included adding a flip-up driver's seat, adding a second battery with a hellroaring isolator/combiner, adding the additional "cooler seat" behind the driver, installing a heater, and moving the subwoofer from under the seat to the driver's kick panel. I had that boat set up just right... Should have kept that one!

Nothing major on mine. '89 SN 2001

So far I've replaced the rub rail insert, changed the vent coversfrom black to chrome, added stereo and Ipod Hook up. It already had a Fly High Pole.

I'll be adding some custom cup holders soon and adding Gator Grip to a few key spots.

The seat was actually super easy. I built the seat base out of marine plywood and covered it with Lowe's outdoor gray carpet (which by the way is a PERFECT match for the older 210 carpet). I took the original seat cushion to a local upholstery shop and had them duplicate it. It came out great, and I only had about $100 in the parts and labor for the seat.

As for the sub in the kick panel, I just pulled off the kick panel, cut out the hole, and ran the wires from the old location to the new one under the floor. The old sub mount is held in by about eight screws, and once removed, it REALLY opens up the storage under that seat. You can store boards, skis, etc. under there once the sub is gone. The open space runs all the way up to the tip of the bow.

I was really happy with the customizing that I did with that boat. Everything seemed to work out perfectly.

It was pretty heavy, so I didn't bother to attach it. It never moved though. The cushion was held on with velcro.

You got a picture of that rear perfect pass control. That sounds like an awesome idea! Is it the same gauge as the dash?

It's just inside the rear storage compartment. I raise the cover to access the display mounted on a piece of aluminum angle bolted to the hull just below the level of the cover. The display is a standard judges display just like this one, of course without the Chapparel writing, I remember when all perfect pass displays were like this... Perfect pass made a Y special cable for me with active buttons, the normal judges display buttons are not active.
