Outside of the 'blingness' factor, what's the point?Neuston Boards

I installed my under platform lights just because I though they would look cool. Now I use them as backup lights, lights to help put stuff away after an evening ride, lights for the tent area behind the boat when we trailer in camp, etc. Surprisingly I find them quite convenient and useful. Note mine are LEDs that run full brightness in or out of the water, not the Halogen styles that dim when they get hot like the CC units.

Ahah, well played Mikeski! The backup lights and camp lights are great!
But for your point of putting stuff away in the evening, does that light really help that much (wouldn't rear facing tower lights help better)? I've never had, or been in a boat with the underwater lights, but I just have a hard time figuring the benefit on the water.Neuston Boards
