    Changing seasons

My wife and I hit Lake Athens today for a few hours of sun and stereo. It was a beautiful day. 86 degrees air temp, hardly a cloud in the sky, light breeze and the water temp was around 84. The water was a bit colder than last week. It won't be long before it will be too cold for these two Texans!!

Anyway, it is very sad to see boating season coming to an end, but I am certainly looking forward to football season...................Go Cowboys!!

This is the best part of the year for wakeboarding. After Labor Day, everyone is off the lake watching football and the air is still warm. Last year I rode through December, I did eventually get a wetsuit.

You go boy!! I'm not hardcore enough for the wetsuit....except for SCUBA! We are lucky (blessed) to live in the Lone Star State!! For many reasons, but the extended boating season is one of them. Have a great time and be safe down there in Austin.
