    CHROME Blower Vents on 236, 230, 220, & 210 models

I just thought I would share a couple of pictures of my CHROME BLOWER VENTS on my 236 Nautique.

These vents covers are usually white or match the deck color of the gel coat on 236, 230, 220, and 210 models.

I also used a white GORE-TEX gasket tape in place of the white caulk when mounting them back on the boat for a very clean look.

I think they turned out great!

I really like that. I bet they would look great on a black deck...

I am very old fashioned and prefer the blower vents to be the same color as the gelcoat on my favorite boat made by Correct Craft.

Very cool looking! If they are metal, painted or not they will be hot. IF I had a boat that would be a great option! NICE!

I don't know why everyone is concerned that they'll get hot... I just don't get why you would ever even notice? Do people walk on their blower vents? I usually don't take my climbing gear on the boat, I guess... I think Miller time is just upset because that boat is obviously a Michigan boat, and what with the new coach, and Big Blue trying desperately to put up some type of fight against the mighty, mighty Jim Tressel...
Seriously though.. those vents look great, and on a beautiful boat to boot!!! Great looking 236, very clean, very nice. I'm jealous for sure!!!

Thank you fellow PN members for the comments.

Especially those posting genuine thought out intelligent comments rather than a jerky boy type of childish response.

For those interested, I had the original vents electroplated (metal chrome coated).

I never notice them being hot. Why would they get any hotter than the chrome handles on the back of the boat?

Most boats have chrome parts all over.

Did anyone else notice some of the vents develop fractures/cracks?

Also, I did not care for the white caulk used around the edge of the vents.

However, I sure am happy CC used this type of vent so I could have them chromed.

By the way millertime210 is the poor Un-PN type of response not any of the other ones.

I guess you've never sat on the sundeck of a 236 and hung your legs off the side of the boat where they are touching the blower vents.....and yes, that's without having to use climbing gear.

I think they are a little bit too much on the "bling" side, kinda like all the ghetto cars you see with the fake chrome air vents glued on the sides of their cars up by the engine. Just my opinion
