I purchased a Z5 for my 2009 230 from someone who had it on a 200, who purchased it from someone else...boat unknown. My old post is on this site somewhere. I had someone with a 230 pull measurements from their Z5 which I then compared to the one I purchased. It fits perfectly. The newer style mounting brackets are different but I bet if you pull a few measurements from the seller's tower you can figure out if it will work on your tower.Last edited by srock; 06-13-2024, 10:12 AM.

Wagonman_1 are you putting a different Bimini on your 230, if so you mind sharing what you go with? I am liking the Z5 on my 230 a lot more than I expected to but just wish I could stow it when we wanted full sun. Although it's easy enough to pull off and leave on shore so I will likely hang on to it because the storage and look are great.Shawn

We trailer our boat and keep in in a garage with a 10' door. I have to lower the tower each time we use it and even with pivoting the z5 on the front mounts, it was very cumbersome for me to raise and lower the tower from an ergo standpoint. I installed a folding bimini from Sewlong that stowe's behind the tower enabling me to stand directly under the tower to raise and lower it. Much easier on my back. The Sewlong cover provides roughly the same amount of shade as the Z5 and gives much more headroom being an over the tower design. I've had several people smash their face into the back of the Z5 getting into the boat from the engine cover. I don't dislike the Z5, It just doesn't work as well for someone who manipulates the tower often.Originally posted by s_kelley2000 View PostWagonman_1 are you putting a different Bimini on your 230, if so you mind sharing what you go with? Bimini height clearance is a trade-off when you live in the Florida sun. The lower Z5 provides more hours of shade than an over-the-tower while early and afternoon sun hits you regardless.

I'll take negligible loss of shade over potentially knocking out my passengers any day of the week.Originally posted by srock View PostBimini height clearance is a trade-off when you live in the Florida sun. tn350 I would think it would fit a 210 as there are some width adjustments on the Z5 on my 230 with FCT5 and it looks like it can be set wider or a couple of inches narrower if needed. If you want to measure the width of your tower from the top of the plate where the second set of speakers can be mounted, I can do the same on mine to give us a reference point to see if there is a difference in tower width. If anything I assume the 210 tower is a little narrower as it has a 98" beam vs 100.5" on the 230. I will also measure how much play it has to narrow the Z5 but from my quick eyeball it's about an inch a side.Originally posted by tn350 View PostDo you know if this will fit a 210 that also has the FCT5? If so, very interested.
How I will measure:
Adjustment I mentioned:
