Looking for Sport Nautique 200

WTB: Sport Nautique 200V

Looking for a clean, well-kept Sport Nautique 200V - specifically the V-drive, not the direct-drive Ski Nautique 200.

Ideally:

* 2014–2016, with a preference for 2015–2016
* Under ~400 hours, but I’d consider more for the right boat
* Freshwater history
* Excellent interior and gelcoat
* LINC/Team dash preferred
* Trailer
* Factory ballast/tower
* ZR409 would be a bonus, but not necessary
* Jump seat/tower speakers are highly desired

I’m somewhat picky on color, but open to seeing what’s out there.

I’m located in Washington State and willing to travel or arrange transport anywhere in the U.S. or Canada for the right boat.

Not in a huge rush - I’d rather wait for a really good example than buy the wrong one - but I’m a serious buyer if someone has one they’re considering selling.

Tough boat to find, at least when you're looking for one. I've only seen 2 with the 409 over the years and both had the the LINC dash. The jump seat is going to be a wild card as I was the only one I've seen that had one listed with one but you may still be able to get the jump seat through Nautique Parts or C & S.

You may want to to add some additional information based on these questions as well.....

• What trailer are you looking for? Is there a "no go" there as well?
• What color are you looking for or what colors would be out?
• What is your budget? Not asking you to commit but what would be the range for the perfect boat and one that met you minimum requirements?

I've always hated these types of posts while being a seller because if you respond it's easy for the poster to start tearing down your boat and beating you down on price before even seeing a picture it, especially if the color and budget isn't listed in the post. A great example would be..... "The boat is white hull with red with black trim, "oh, that's not what I'm looking for but would be interested if you're giving it away" kind of thing. Asking price works the same way, without a stated budget you have no idea if the buyer is anywhere near what you plan to list the boat for. Your boat checks all the wish list boxes, invest time with the back and forth only to find out the budget is $25K. I liken this aspect to the Griswolds going to the alternative casino in the movie Vegas Vacation and play "guess what number I'm thinking of".....



The counter to all the above of course is no one is being forced to reply which you probably know where I would sit with this.

Regardless, let us know that additional information and I'll keep an eye out in my part of the woods. I'm still fairly active in ski boat circles in these parts and tend to come across deals from time to time. That and since I've owned one of these have a good idea of what to look for.

To clarify a few things:

• Trailer: I definitely want a boat with a trailer, but I’m not particular about brand or configuration as long as it’s appropriate for the boat and in good shape.
• Color: Blue over white would probably be my first choice, but I’m absolutely not limiting myself to that. I’d consider red, black, gray, etc. if the overall boat is right.
• Budget: I don’t really have a hard budget. I’m willing to pay a premium for the right boat, especially for a clean, low-hour 2015–2016, and even more so for a 2016 with the 409 and the options I’m looking for. I’m not shopping based on finding the cheapest 200V.

I also completely understand the seller-side concern about spending time on someone whose expectations or budget are nowhere near reality. That’s not what I’m trying to do here. I’m trying to get in front of boats before they’re widely listed because these don’t come up very often, and I’d rather pay appropriately for a really good example than compromise just because something happens to be available.

The jump seat is definitely more of a preference than a dealbreaker, and I’m aware it may be something I have to source separately.

Thanks again - especially since you own one and know what tends to matter on these. If you hear of a good one coming up, I’d definitely appreciate a heads-up.
