I had a coil in my previous boat that went bad after leaving the ignition switch on overnight. For sale is a PCM coil R117001 that I bought locally for my Ford 5.8 PCM.
At the same time I was having problems with my boat shutting down every once in a while from Aug to Oct. Turned out to be a fuel issue but I replaced the coil with a PCM R117004 after talking to Vince at Discount Inboard Marine . They look identical to me. This coil was used May to Sept of 2006 and has 45 hours on it. Price is $15 plus shipping. They are $37 new.
I can get you a photo but it is just a black coil with a PCM foil decal on it. Two terminals on top with nuts and lock washers.
