Honestly you need to get some better pictures posted of the boat. The ones you have are too small and too far away. Take a look at some of the other ads (i.e. Buxton Marine) for example. You need some close-up interior shots, engine, helm, etc. This picture is worthless.



Sorry - not trying to come off as a jerk - looks like you have a nice boat, but you need to get buyers excited about it. Have you checked prices? Is it competitively priced @ $32,000?

EDIT - Didn't see your pictures from 3 days ago. Better, but more close-ups of the interior and engine would be helpful.

Cool that is has dual exhaust. I wonder if that was exclusive to the ZR6.

Dual exhaust is a 226 feature. I have the same boat and hate to see you having any delay in selling. Please take these as constructive comments that they are meant to be. The boat appears to have been used in salt water. If so, tell what you did to maintain, flush, cleaning, etc. Hard to tell, but the gel coat looks good, but if used in salt water, buyers may be concerned. Take a shot down the side showing the mirror-like reflection. Galvanized trailer good for salt water, but does nothing for show. May want to try to dress it up a little. Perhaps find a reasonably priced set of wheels? Close up of the interior, helm, amps, enginge compartment, storage are key. Sell the tons of storage on this boat! Maybe a shot on the water. Pump up that ballast and show the wake. Even better- get some wake board and wake surf action shots!!! Good luck! The 226 is an awesome machine!

Forgot to mention the WLM 226. Not sure I would use that as a benchmark. They sell a lot of boats on consignment and may not control the price. The owner may be upside down with the bank. They are a great dealer who knows how to price a boat they own.

I don't think I have mentioned that I was using the WLM boat as a benchmark however I was using it as a reference. Thank you for the positive thoughts. I am not in a hurry to sell my boat so I have not really dug deep to make this thing move. Just putting the feeler out to see who is out there. The day that I really need to sell the boat I will tow it north and put it in the lake market and I am sure that it will move. The coastal market is obviously far smaller than the lake market for this boat. Just need the right person in the right frame of mind that wants a super boat for the money. I do appreciate the "trolling" and personal opinions from anyone that is willing to submit them. Have a great day!
