I live in Florida on a bay that empties into Choctaw bay. The bay is Brackishwater and the boat has never been out to the ocean, strictly used forwakeboarding but I understand the hesitation for a boat from Florida so that’s whyI am asking for $5K lower than the average. The boat is kept on a lift insummer and garage in winter. It is flushed, rinsed and wiped down after everyuse. The maintenance has been done every 50 hrs. I know people are afraid ofboats that have even been near saltwater but I have lived here my whole lifeand if saltwater ate boats there would no boats in Florida. It all comes downto how much time you are willing to spend maintaining it. I can take you to anymarina around here and show you 25 year old boats that look brand new and 5year old boats that look like crap all based on what the owner did or did notdo to keep it up. When I hear someone say “I would never have a boat that’s beenin saltwater” all I hear is “I don’t want to do any maintenance on my boat”which is insane no matter where you live. My brother has a Mastercraft inNashville on the river and that thing is disgusting because the river is sobad, even his vests have turned river brown. I have had this thing for manyyears down here and have had zero issues. Its 8 yrs old now and does show signsof use (its got almost 500 hrs) like seat wear, gel coat scratches, etc. Butmechanically its been a beast.
Its in the Garage now (84” door height) so I have room on the lift for my new G21!! SO ifyou are looking for a good price on a 2008 SANTE 230 and will take care of thisbaby, shoot me a PM. I am listing it on PN to give us first shot before I put it anywhere else.
