Up for sale is a 2004 Nautique Air 226 Team Edition. It is a beautiful boat! This boat is great for a family or the wakeboard enthusiast. It can hold up to 12 people and is fully loaded with tons of amenities and ready for your trip to the river or lake. It is 22.5 feet long. It has a 6.0L ZR6 motor. There are only 171 hours on the engine. We took it to a local dealer and had him do a thorough inspection of everything and all systems are working perfectly. We have the report if you would like to see it. Brand new batteries installed in February of this year. Current registration. It was just professionally detailed and we had the swim step redone. All the upholstery is in near perfect condition. There is no stitching coming apart or ware spots. For being a 2004, this boat is in amazing condition. The boat has been stored outside, but it has always been under a tarp cover that goes all the way to the ground. We change the tarp several times a year to avoid any undo exposure. The weather here in sunny So. Cal is very mild pretty much 365 days a year. It has not been put in salt water; only in fresh water. There is no pitting in the gel coat of the boat.
The only negative is the tower speakers do not work. We were told it was probably a fuse, but we have not tested that theroy. The rest of the upgraded stereo works perfect and all the other speakers work perfect and are very loud. It does have a subwoofer and an amp.
It comes with the tandem trailer that has 2 new tires. See picture below. I have over 80 additional photos I can send you. I attached a video that we took a month ago when we put it in the water. It is kinda boring and by far professional but it lets you see the boat in action. I have a few more if you would like to see them.
We have dropped the price $7500 from what every dealer has told us we could expect from the sale and we are only asking $35,000 or make a reasonable offer. There is nothing wrong with the boat, in fact, it is pretty much in immaculate condition. We just do not use the boat and its costing me a fortune to store it. We are very motivated. With its factory installed ballast system, you can add as much as 900 lbs. of additional weight creating a massive wake for some real launching power. Don't think for a second that its size slows this king of inboards down. It's astounding out of the hole power and smooth pull is just as responsive as the Ski Nautique 196.
