Does not look like a "Pro" Air from the pics, no strakes down the hull.

I was told it was when I bought it, going off that, it may not be but its a great boat. There are no strakes down hull to clarify. Thanks

Definitely not a "Pro Air" then, probably a better thing with regards to resale value.

FYI, Pro have the TWC hull, which have strakes running down the hull.

Air/Sport have the TSC Hull, which is a better all around hull then the TWC

          From the 2000 Brochure:

Q, was it definitive that the sport had the "TSC" hull? The brochure never actually stated the hull is under the sport. Also, the sport doesn't have all the dips and turns and niches that the same year TSC Ski 196 has.

Just wanted to clarify Hope I didn't confuse!

The 305 engine is painful at sale time. I havent priced these boats out, but I would guess you might be a little high still. Check onlyinboards, CCF, and other boat websites for comperable boats. Find a gt40 boat and subtract maybe around 2K or maybe more. There are not too many out there, and mostly avoided because of resale. Not that it cant do everything else the gt40 can do, but it is a mental thing IMO.

18,500 In Sept 2011 I just spent 1800.00 on interior seats.

Only confusion is your own Mikey, LOL. Whether it was a Badged as a Sport, Air or Pro Air from 99'-02' (98' was only Sport/Air IIRC), that boat was available with either the TWC or TSC hull, have never seen anything other then a "Pro Air" with the TWC however that does not mean there is not a Sport or Air out there with a TWC.

In 00' it was a Ski Nautique not a 196, and the Sport/Airs were 18" longer then the Ski, both hulls were referred to as TSC however would have been different in shape/length/etc.

Ordered my My 99' Air with the TSC hull, from the factory just below the sides of the windshield were the "Total Surface Control" stickers, somebody in Orlando was calling it a TSC hull.

Won't comment on the price other then say I agree with Don. One thing I would do is change any ads that have the "Pro Air" designation to "Sport/Air" as I believe a Sport/Air is a much more desirable hull for that particular boat, more pictures and info never hurts either, that is unless they don't support the asking price, LOL

The boat is a Sport/Air I found this build sheet in the paper work tucked away.
