2001 SuperAirNautique 210 with 502 Python(big block chevy) the boat has about 350 hours on it, a killer custom stereo, wicked custom paint and extended Flight Control tower with speaker mounts tig welded in( 14 inchs taller). Every mod has been professionally done and this boat is very clean and runs great. I am still not sure, if I want to sell it or not, but my ski buddy wants to give me a smokin deal on his 2003 SAN 226. I will post pictures of the boat as soon as my tower comes back from the powdercoater. I don't know what this boat is worth, what do you guys think? I am guessing in the low 30's, because most customized boats never bring any more money, no matter how well it was done.

RE: 2001 SAN 502 Python
My question is why would you want to go from a 210 to a 226? I could see if you needed the extra room for a big family, but you're definitely going to sacrifice wake quality.2001 Air Nautique

The boat is painted mostly black with tribal graghics and candy green pearl logo and accents ghosted in the black paint, to match the boat, I am powdercoating the tower gloss black with a UV clear over so that it does not sun fade over time. About the wake of my boat compared to the 226. They don't even compare, but I am a hydrofoiler and need the extra room. My wakeboarding buddies will be very upset.

get a tower rack for your Chair, and keep that beast !! A friend has one for his and it keeps it out of the way, and you sacrifice nothing.the WakeSlayer

The boat was painted in 2002 and still looks like it was done yesterday....the painter used a special primer (they use it on Corvettes). The paint was House of Color basecoat/clearcoat. A white basecoat was applied, then black graphics, followed by airbrushing and pinstriping....finally multiple coats of clear.

I'm only commenting because you asked in your post. Had the boat been wrapped instead of painted, an asking price in the low 30s would sound right to me. Your paint job is definitely unique to say the least, but I would be prepared to take a signifigantly lower amount than that. I hope it does not sound like I'm flaming you, but you are probably either going to have to be very patient and/or really drop the price if you decide not to keep it.

I am having the boat painted black now and installing the 2008 Nautique "crest" graphics. I was only considering selling the Super Air because, I wanted something different. Now, I will keep the boat another year or two. My wife loves the look of the new graphics.
