FYI, I have no use for this information other than being curious, but I could not find this information anywhere online. Why do some 226 models have fiberglass seat bases (as shown in picture) and some have carpeting. I originally thought all the boats after 2006 had the fibreglass, but I have seen multiple 2007 and 08 models with carpeting aswell. Does anybody know why this is? Or will it remain a mystery?

The first image with the mentioned fiberglass is a 2006 boat, and the second one is a 2008 boat with the carpeting

First, a big thank you to everyone who contributes here — over nine years of enjoying our 2000 Nautique 196, this community has been the answer to nearly every issue we've run into.

Like a few others have mentioned, our OEM speedometer and tachometer have never been very readable, so we've always relied on the PerfectPass gauge for speed and RPM. It's worked great — until now.

The up button on our PerfectPass gauge has stopped working, and I need it to access the hours on our OEM PerfectPass master module.

Long shot: Does anyone have a spare PerfectPass gauge for a 2000 Nautique 196 they'd be willing to part with?

Pro tip for anyone in the same boat: PerfectPass in Canada will read the hours off your master module if you send it to them directly — worth knowing if your gauge goes down.

Thanks in advance!

I have a 2006 SAN 220 Team - The first two times out this season I have had a slow leak I have noticed. I ran it yesterday and the bilge water at times was pretty hot to touch. The engine temp was cool (touching the exhaust pipes and engine gauge everything was normal). When running the boat I am getting a very warm heat through the vents underneath the driver seat. I fell as if it's something related to the prop shaft and water is coming in through that area as well. I wanted to see if anyone had any diagnosis thoughts on this.

Natique owners

new member here, I purchased on 12-14-25 a new to me 2005 air natique 226 team edition with 450 hrs on her. Was finally able to take her out this past weekend and knowing I purchased a 20 year old boat there would be some issues I would have to repair.

1. need to install a new steering cable, I have done this on my previous boat which was a 2001 ski centurion sport bowrider, so I guess my question is has anyone done this fix and degree of difficulty? Do I have to take out floor panels and? Or is there a video somewhere that I can watch. Mechanical guy so I think I can handle it.

2 helm control valves knobs very hard to turn. Reading on this site it says
I need to change the 3 helm valves which I have purchased but having trouble locating them by the ballast tanks, any diagram on those?

3 starboard tank filling is this due to seacock not shutting or helm valve, a little confused by this since only one tank filling.

also all my Faria gauges are working properly and I know of the gateway issue so If I cut and plug the tubes to the gateway now will it save the gauges or is it inevitable that I will have to change them?

trying to get her dialed in before memorial weekend, any thoughts about the boat or any recommendations much appreciated.

thank you
Paul

MAKE ME AN OFFER...within reason obviously. Very Rare, been told "this thing belongs in a Nautique museum"....changing the description after a comment. Yes, I did not put the red insert in the rub rail. I thought the red looked too "Barbie". See below for why I did not replace the Body Glove logo. It's $300 and would be be better quality decal material than available in 1995. No, wording stitching was not put back on upholstery....stitching weakens the upholstery and it cracked around the stitching in my other boats...but it is thicker and nicer qualify than what was available in the 90's. 1 of 5 made Body Glove Edition Ski Nautique. No trades. The story I have heard is there were 6 made, one was damaged. 5 total put into the market by Correct Craft for 1995. That's what I have heard, I certainly can't confirm it, but it tracks. This boat is as close to perfect as you can get in a 1995 limited edition model. Interior was redone in correct colors for the Body Glove Edition. 2000 Tandem Trailer, which isn't pristine like the boat, but nice and 5 years newer. No rust or damage, just faded. Needs nice paint to really pop, but I haven't had a chance to do it. New brake hydraulic system on trailer. I have done a number of updates to the boat including correct speedos replacement, bimini fabric and decals. Nice garage cover included. I suppose you could tow with it because it fits over the platform, but I would never tow a boat with a cover.
I decided not to redo the Body Glove side decals, instead, having retro Ski Nautique decals fitting the graphics perfectly. Looks really great with the retro decals. About $300 to have the original Body Glove decals made if you wanted it back to original look. No fading, so peel SN and apply BG would not be difficult. Boat shines like new. Recent oil change, belts and impeller. Stereo also replaced to fit in stock location, but with blue tooth and audio plug. Newer battery kept on a tender. Boat has been garage kept and has 744 hrs. If you are a Correct Craft fan, this is your boat. Only selling because I ran across a model I used to own and bought it. Motivated seller since there are now two Nautiques at our house. Happy to help with shipping coordination. Runs like a watch with zero issues. Gets comments every time we take it out. True 90's retro in an extremely limited edition.
The 226 was listed for sale around this September, and I believe it sold rather shortly after. Just curious if somebody in here took it home. I don't know how much information the dealer gave you about the boat, but we put quite a bit of money into it in the few years we had it, and I'm just hoping somebody gets good use out of it. If you are out there let me know and enjoy the boat this year!

Hello,
Have a 98 super air natique I just bought recommission it, put a new impeller in (installed the housing correctly lol). Pulled the hose off the strainer and had the garden hose running, before the engine was started, water was pouring out exhaust. Started up and seemed to run fine, but temperature gauge was sky rocketing to 220 as soon as it started up. Engine was cool to the touch. Pulled the hose off the top of the thermostat and was completely filled with water.

Any ideas? Could it be the temp sensor itself?

2007 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition – Black hull and sides, with new Chromax SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE lettering and brand new decals. Fresh wet sand and buff, and the gelcoat looks great. The interior is original and nice, but has a few small imperfections (nothing major).

Quick Facts:

* 2007 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition
* Onyx Black Hull with Silver Cloud Deck
* PCM Excalibur 330 5.7L V8 (330 HP)
* 712 Hours
* Brand New Cover
* 2023 Boatmate Trailer
* Excellent Running Condition
* Clear NC Titles for Boat and Trailer

The interior has received a full cleaning, and is very presentable. There are no show-stopping issues with the interior, although it is original and not new. It has a full SeaDek flooring upgrade that is in good shape. Full maintenance has just been completed on the engine, including fresh oil & filter, fresh transmission fluid, new impeller, new spark plugs, new Fuel Control Cell (FCC) filter, etc. The alternator has also just been replaced. The steering cable is relatively new and not binding at all. The propeller and underwater gear are in great condition. All engine gauges are original and working properly. The gelcoat has just been wet sanded and buffed, and looks great. The stereo is a Kenwood head unit connected to JL Audio amps, with JL Audio in-boat speakers, Wet Sounds tower speakers and a Wet Sounds WS-420 EQ.

The previous owner added supplemental ballast to the boat, and it is plumbed properly. There are two additional 750-pound rear bags, and a 425-pound bow sack under the bow seats. These fill using the factory pumps. Once the factory hard tanks fill, these fill from the overflow lines. This provides 1,925 pounds of extra ballast on top of the factory 906 pounds, for a total of 2,831 pounds of ballast, all hidden.

The trailer is a 2023 Boatmate, and is in nice condition. The brakes work, and all of the lights work. This trailer was built for a Super Air Nautique 230, so it has a little bit of extra capacity, and allows for easy boarding from the rear with the extra bunk length. The 210 sits very nicely on this trailer, and it tows great.

While this is not a new boat, it is in very nice condition. That being said, it is not perfect. There are a few known issues, and I will list them here. The depth finder does not display any information. I believe that when the previous owner replaced the steering cable, they may have severed the cable between the depth finder transducer and the gauge. The lake water temperature display is also inaccurate. As mentioned above, the interior is nice, but not perfect. Some seats have some staining and scratches, but there are no holes or open places in the upholstery. Please review the attached video and see the highlights of the interior.
Overall, this is a very nice boat with just a few small imperfections. Test drives available for people with serious interest. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
