I have a 2022 G23 and the MM105 head unit has died. There is "new" old stock available on ebay, and the clarion replacement is the CMM-30. I'd like either of them to work through the Linc system and touchscreen. Can anyone tell me if the Clarion is compatible? Or if I plug in another MM105 will it just work? OR does it require some CanBus programming?

The screen information on my Zero Off can no longer be read except for the bottom area, where I can barely make out the set point and on/off, but the sun and your eyes need to be just right to make it out. I did have the top cover pop off, and the gauge had some rainwater enter, but it is now dry and functional, just hard to read. Is there something that can be done to remedy this, or is a replacement in order?

2013 SANTE 210 – Factory Tank Removal

2013 210 SANTE.. yanked the hard tanks yesterday. Tried to do it keeping them intact but completely lost patience and grabbed the ole trusty sawzall which made quick work. I did not love the piggyback system as I never had a good way of knowing then the actual hard tanks were drained. got tired of pulling the boat out and draining the remainder in the parking lot. I also love how much more space there is when the hard tank is gone. I reached out to wakemakers for help as well and waiting to hear back, but figured somebody on here has done this before...

The boat currently has WakeMakers 740 lb Plug-N-Play bags in the rear lockers that were piggybacked off the factory hard tanks. I removed the rear hard tanks yesterday and would like to replace everything with either the WakeMakers 1,020 lb bags or 1,100 lb FatSacs. I see a lot of folks mention going with the 1100s but they cant fill all the way. the 1020s are 50x25x20. the 1100s are 50x24x24. Im wondering if maybe the 1020 would be a better fit, to be able to fill all the way and still have some room on top for ropes/vests.

**A few questions:**

1. **Rear lockers:** What plumbing/fittings do I need to convert from the factory tank + piggyback setup to a single bag in each rear locker? I can send photos of the existing plumbing now that everything has been removed. It looks like I have a vent/overflow line and a fill/drain line going to each bag. I’m assuming I have more plumbing than I need now that the hard tanks are gone. Is there a simple diagram showing the best way to plumb this?

2. **Center locker:** I have the factory center hard tank piggybacked to an arrow shaped bag that I believe is around 325 lbs. The Arrow bag doesn’t seem to fit the space very well and can’t fill completely. Is there a better bag for this area that would maximize the available space?

3. **Bow ballast:** I’d also like to add a bag under the bow seats. Can this be incorporated into the existing center ballast system? Ideally, I’d like the factory center tank to fill first, then the center locker bag, and then have that overflow/fill the bow bag. I’d like to keep everything operating from the factory ballast controls rather than adding separate pumps/switches if possible.

Hopefully that makes sense. I’m mainly trying to maximize the available ballast while keeping the plumbing and operation as simple as possible. I have a few lead bags in the bow but would like to have the option to add weight and remove weight as needed. too much lead up front when not weighing down the stern seems a little sketchy.

Hi -
After a few hours on the water, I have had my Linc screen go completely black (this has happened a half a dozen times this summer). I am able to drive the boat if needed, but other functions cease (i.e. ballasts shut off if they were filling/draining). Ahead of taking it in for service, I would turn off the batteries, cover the screen with a towel and wait 10-15 minutes. Upon reset, it works ilke new. During service, the techs confirmed that all connections are correct, so the obvious suspect is overheating.

Environmental conditions are relatively mild (70-80, 85 F max) up in Lake Tahoe, nothing like Arizona or the South.

Separately, it seems like there is a reluctance for Nautique to accept the warranty claim (2nd owner with valid transferrable warranty). Was leaving it up to the dealership to deal directly Nautique, but maybe I need to get personally involved.

Anyone have a similar experience with either the screen performance or warranty?

Many thanks!

Looking for someone who knows and loves Nautiques! Overall, good condition Sport Nautique for a 35 year old boat (hull, engine, propeller, flooring, seats). Owned since 2021, selling because I do not have the resources to further pursue fixing an issue- the engine runs hot at idle and cruising speeds. I have had the following repairs done:

Impeller replaced

Thermostat replaced

Temperature sensor replaced

Main circulation pump replaced

Carburetor kit installed

Posting this here in hopes of finding someone who is comfortable doing their own mechanical work/knows a good mechanic or for parts. Motivated to sell!

Hi all, new to the site here and hoping somebody has some experience with the issue I'm having. Recently I replaced both batteries on our boat due to seeing a low voltage warning on the portside (house) battery seeing as we had just purchased the boat 3 months ago and it had the original 8 year old batteries still in it. Having replaced them with bigger group 31 batteries I assumed all was well, fast forward to last Sunday and I get the same warning again of low voltage portside battery at 8.9V. Through running a bunch of tests (voltage resting through both batteries, running voltage and voltage across the acr terminals) I ended up replacing the acr itself and it still isn't combining to charge the portside once the voltage drops, 12.9 V was what I was seeing with the engine running for about 5 min. Is it entirely possible The ground sensing wire is responsible and if so can I just run it over to the ground bus under the helm? Or is it better to run straight to the battery negative. Thanks

I have a 2015 Ski Nautique and when I was cleaning it recently, I noticed the poly washers that go between the screw and the plate that goes up and down have completely decomposed. Some screws had remanence of the washers and others were completely missing.
I can tell there is a poly washer that goes between the screw and the plate. I cannot find any exploded views of the Hydro Gate so I cannot tell if there is also supposed to be a poly washer between the plate that slides up and down and the plate attached to the boat. Does anyone know if I only need the single washer per screw or do I need two?

Dealing with a JL Audio MM100 stock head unit in a 2021 G23 that has forgotten how to tune into radio stations.
AM, FM, weather band all just have 0.0 where the frequency should be:
Bluetooth audio works fine, haven't tried USB audio.

Things I have tried:

MM hard reset procedure - https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?fa...se3nHY30XuQmn9

I am considering trying the bootloader reset, but being that I am not stuck on the splash screen, I don't think that is the issue: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?fa...OA4ahRBOFxFXe5

Anyone had a similar issue or have any insight as to what the fix should be?

I'm decently techy, but also don't want to brick the unit completely.

Guess next question would be, if I do brick it messing with the programming, is a MM-105 plug an play for a 2021 G23? I know they started putting them in some 2022 models and then also reverted to some MM-100s, so hoping so?

Appreciate any insight or advice.

Thanks,

Bringing the price down (was $85k) on this well-cared-for 2020 Ski Nautique which I bought new in late 2020. It has all the goodies: trick ballast, heated spotter and driver seats, heat and defrost, Nautique awareness camera, and cleats. It was professionally ceramic coated inside and out with Ceramic Pro marine when new. It's lived on a covered lift in the summer and in heated storage in the winter. It has one exterior blemish near the front hook where the boat made contact with the trailer. It's not through the gel coat, but might take a little touch up and buffing. With that exception, the boat is in excellent shape. It will be available after September 7, but I'm flexible on that for the right deal. If the buyer prefers, it can also be run through the dealership where I'm ordering the new boat. They can help with shipping, financing, or a pre-sale mechanical inspection. There may be some fees involved in that, but this can be negotiated as well.
