ORLANDO, FL (August 3, 2026) - The second stop of the inaugural Nautique Water Ski World Series saw records shattered once again as the Rocky Mountain ProAm made its historic debut at Predator Bay Water Ski Club in Calgary, Alberta. Marking both the first-ever Rocky Mountain ProAm and the first tournament of the new partnership between Nautique Boats and Predator Bay Water Ski Club, the event showcased the world's best athletes while continuing the series' remarkable run of record-breaking performances behind the Ski Nautique.

Just weeks after multiple records fell at the opening stop of the Nautique Water Ski World Series at the Botaski ProAm, history continued at Predator Bay as athletes once again pushed the limits of the sport. From multiple course records to a pending Pro Men Trick World Record, the weekend further established the Nautique Water Ski World Series as a defining force in global waterskiing.

Team Nautique athlete Anna Hunter (USA) claimed the Pro Women Trick title with 10,500 points, while teammate Neilly Ross (CAN) finished second with 10,460 points. The event featured a remarkable progression of the Predator Bay Pro Women Trick course record. Ross first set a new course record of 10,280 points during the first qualifying round before fellow Team Nautique athlete Erika Lang (USA) raised the standard even higher with an incredible 11,310-point performance in the second qualifying round to become the new course record holder.

“I’m honored to take the win at the Rocky Mountain Pro Am!” said Team Nautique athlete Anna Hunter. “A huge thank you to Nautique for hosting the Nautique Water Ski World Series and for their continued support of our sport. The 2027 Ski Nautique is pushing the sport to new levels, and it’s exciting to see that reflected in the level of competition at every event. I can’t wait for the next stop in California!"

History was made once again in Pro Men Trick when Matias Gonzalez (CHI) scored an astounding 13,140 points during the first qualifying round, establishing a Pending Pro Men Trick World Record.

In Pro Women Slalom, Team Nautique athlete Regina Jaquess (USA) emerged victorious with 1.5 @ 10.25m (41 off) in the finals. Earlier in the tournament, Jaquess and Jaimee Bull (CAN) each ran 3 @ 10.25m (41 off) to break the Predator Bay Pro Women Slalom course record, with Bull's performance also setting a new Canadian National Record.

Jaquess added another podium finish in Pro Women Jump, soaring 47.1m (155ft) behind the GM Marine-powered Ski Nautique to claim third place.

“It’s an honor to be a Team Nautique athlete as they present this Series,” said Team Nautique athlete Regina Jaquess. “The latest generation of the Ski Nautique has a lot to offer in all three events. My best score this weekend was a 3 @ 41 off, and hoping to get to six soon – maybe at the next stop – the California ProAm! Thank you, Nautique, for making a tour for all three events around the world.”

Team Nautique athlete Charlie Ross (CAN) battled through an exciting Pro Men Slalom final, tying for first place after skiing 3 @ 10.25m (41 off). After a runoff, Ross finished second with 5 @ 10.75m (39.5 off).

The future of the sport was equally impressive throughout the U21 divisions. Alexia Abelson (USA) established a new U21 Women Trick course record with 10,030 points. In U21 Men Trick, Jake Abelson (USA) earned the victory over fellow Pending World Record holder Matias Gonzalez (CHI), while 12-year-old Ridge Kreuger (USA) rounded out the podium in third. With two World Record holders competing alongside one of the sport's brightest young talents, the Nautique Water Ski World Series continues to demonstrate its role in developing the next generation of waterskiers and providing a pathway for future champions.

"The momentum behind the Nautique Water Ski World Series is undeniable," said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. "Seeing another event produce record-breaking performances while celebrating the debut event of our partnership with Predator Bay is a testament to the caliber of athletes, venues, and organizations involved. It’s exciting to see the future of waterskiing reimagined!”

With two historic stops now complete and records continuing to fall behind the Ski Nautique, the inaugural Nautique Water Ski World Series now heads to California for its next chapter as athletes prepare to compete at the California ProAm.
ORLANDO, FL (July 30, 2026) - The nation's top wakeboarders and wakesurfers converged at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton, Florida, this past weekend as the Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships and the Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championships, both presented by GM Marine, crowned the 2026 National Champions. The event also served as the third stop of the 2026 Nautique Wake Series and the fourth stop of the 2026 Nautique Wakesurf Series, with valuable points on the line as athletes continue their pursuit of overall series titles.

Bringing wakeboarding and wakesurfing together at one National Championship event, the weekend united professional and amateur athletes across both disciplines. With 240 competitors, the event celebrated every level of the sport while inspiring the next generation of riders and showcasing the continued progression of wake sports.

The Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon pulled Team Nautique athlete Joey Harris to win the National Championship Title in Pro Men Surf with Team Nautique athlete Noah Flegel taking second. Parker Payne rounded out the podium after making history by landing the first-ever kickflip in surf-style competition.

“I had such a rad time this week and I’m grateful to have ended up on the top spot in Pro Men Surf,” said Team Nautique athlete Joey Harris. "The level of riding keeps progressing and I’m stoked to compete with these awesome dudes. Thank you Nautique and the WWA for putting on these sick events - I’m looking forward to what’s next!”

Noah Flegel also delivered one of the weekend's most impressive feats by competing in all four Pro Men Surf divisions in addition to Pro Men Wakeboard. Remaining undefeated since the inception of Pro Men Foil divisions, he captured the National Championship Titles in both Pro Men Foil and Pro Men Foil – Straps.

“Having the Nautique National Championships in my hometown of Boca Raton has been incredible," said Team Nautique athlete Noah Flegel. "Getting to compete in front of my friends and family is a dream come true. Taking the win in both Pro Men Foil and Pro Men Foil - Straps was my main objective, and I’m so stoked to come second in Pro Men Surf behind my fiercest competitor and fellow Nautique team rider Joey Harris!”

In the Pro Women Skim and Surf divisions, team Nautique athletes Bailey Dunn and Jodi Grassman found themselves on the podium with Bailey taking second in Pro Women Skim and Jodi taking third in Pro Women Surf.

On the wakeboard side, the Super Air Nautique G23 threw its industry-leading wakes for Team Nautique athlete Cory Teunissen to put together one of his cleanest stand-up passes of the season to claim the 2026 Nautique WWA Pro Men Wakeboard National Championship Title.

“I’m absolutely stoked to take the top spot at Nautique Wakeboard Nationals,” said Team Nautique athlete Cory Teunissen. "Wakeboarding is in such an insane place right now. I feel like I’m constantly just trying to keep up, so when these moments come around they feel that much more special. Thank you to everyone who loves and supports me. I appreciate you all more than you know."

The Pro Women Wakeboard division also marked a significant milestone for the sport as the finals featured double-ups behind the Super Air Nautique G23, highlighting the continued progression of professional women's wakeboarding.

“Each year, the National Championships remind us of our passion for wake sports," said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. "Watching athlete progression as families, fans, and competitors come together for an incredible weekend is what the Nautique Wake and Surf Series are all about.”

With another successful weekend in the books, attention now turns to the final stops of both series, where overall Nautique Wake Series and Nautique Wakesurf Series champions will be crowned.
