Ok all. Trying to narrow down the process . I know the dash is Velcro’d on but being it hasn’t been removed at all since I’ve owned it and I’d rather not mess with that if I don’t have to. I can get to temp gauge pretty easily from underneath but I can’t see how it’s locked into the module to loosen it.

Reason being is I lost all readings Upon start up it jumps ever so slightly , but I’m pretty sure gauge is gonzo. Every other gauge is functioning and working , so. Was going to give it the ol swap or maybe send it for repair. Maybe sending unit is culprit? Maybe little trouble shoot advice is needed but that’s my currently plan. Engine is running and seeming to be temp normal. No codes strainer is clear.m

i removed the lead to temp sensor and gauge moves from bottoming out to around 1)5 when I remove the lead. However when I go to jump it it doesn’t move past that 160ish mark, just kind of flutters.

assume I’m good running for bit while in sort it out as the thermostat is functioning.

any advice always appreciated.

Last year after having some work done on my boat, including replacing both fuel pumps and throttlebody, I boat ran great for about an hour and a half and then it sputtered out. It cranked right back up but has continued to sputter out on an increasingly frequent basis. It currently sputters out every 2 to 4 minutes, but I’ll give it a few seconds then fires right back up. I took it in earlier this summer and they identified the issue as a faulty low pressure pump (non-OEM) that was installed last year and bad fuel. I filled it up with ethanol free but I’m still having the same issue.

We took it out yesterday and ran it on a portable tank to confirm that the issue is engine-side. Fuel pressure is only reading 35 psi and then quickly drops to 0 when sputtering out. If we give it a few seconds it cranks right back up but generally, we can’t run it as hard for as long before the issue happens again. There’s only been one situation where it wouldn’t start back up and I couldn’t get back to the house.

im going to try to remove the FCC cover later today to further investigate.

I’ll also mention that we replaced the MDC computer a few years ago.

Any initial thoughts on whether the problem sounds electrical, computer related, or pump related?

I have a new to me 2021 Ski Nautique with the heated spotter seat. The seat heats even when switched off. I suspect the physical on/off switch in the glove box is the culprit, but wanted to see if anyone else had experienced the same.
Looking for some electrical help on my 2005 Air 196 Nautique Team edition.

I recently replaced my factory amp with a Kicker KMA600.4. After reconnecting everything, I lost power to the stereo/head unit. I’ve already checked:

The inline fuse near the stereo (good)

The breaker under the driver’s dash (good)

Is there another factory breaker or hidden fuse in these boats that feeds the stereo/radio that I may be missing? Before I start tearing deeper into the wiring harness, I wanted to see if there’s another resettable breaker or fuse location on these boats that isn’t obvious.

Any ideas or wiring diagrams would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
