If I only want to place an order if we reach the biggest discount, how do I do it? Should I contact them and say I only want it if we get the discount and then just wait?

Also, these biminis will fold down with the tower, correct? Is it a pain to fold down with the tower because I have to fold my tower down every time I put it away.

Which Generation FCT do you have? I have a FCT on my 05' 206, My "Tower Bimini" must be taken down to fold my tower because the TB frame attaches at both the upper and lower bars of the tower. You can fold the Bimini up into the boot then drop the tower. At the end of the day I fold my tower to get under my lift canopy so it is kind of a PITA but what are ya gonna do.

I have a 2001 FCT. So what exactly do you have to do to fold the tower? I knew you had to put it up in the boot, but is that it or would I have to do something else before lowering the tower? Thanks.

Odds are you'll set it up like mine, and all you have to do after you put the bimini in the boot is to just pull the pins that connect to the top half of the tower.

But I usually store my bimini in the boot and just use the buckle straps to hold it to the top part of the tower - so to lower my tower all you would need to do is unbuckle the two straps and then just lay the bimini backwards (it hinges on the two lower mounts which are on the bottom half of the tower). It's not too bad.

edit:

Here's a pic on how I store my bimini when I'm not using it:

The below pic has the two hinging points on the lower half of the tower:

So, if I didn't want to have the bimini open, I would have to tie it up to the tower like you have it in the pic or will it fold up and stay in the upright position itself?

It won't stay in position if you just have the bottom legs connected. What you can do is leave the middle arms connected (on the rear legs of the top half of the tower) when you're not using it - the problem I have with that way is that you have to duck the bimini everytime you walk around in the boat and usually everyone gets at least one head-check.

But if you wanted to lower the tower you would have to pull the quick release pins on the middle arms and fold the bimini down towards the gunnel.

edit:
it would look something like this if you connected the middle arm when the bimini wasn't in use:

I Filled out the form and faxed it in and put a note at the bottom it was for the group buy. I also called them to confirm that they recieved it. They will not be able to give the actual price until all orders have been recieved. I gave them a deposit so it could get started.

Just got my order sent in and squared away. So far we are in the 3-7 range, as I was told there are around 4 ordered as of this morning (an off-the-cuff guess during our phone conversation - but I was told there have been at least 3 ordered for sure). Keep em comin' so we can get the 8+ pricing.

I did give my payment info on the phone so the bimini will be built in the near future and sent out after the group buy closes next week. So the turn-around time is not too bad - certainly should have the thing by the time the ice finishes melting here in MN.
