Our dealer has one almost identical to yours! And it was because of that beautiful boat that made us get the one we have now...
Thanks for the compliments. I Love the boat and the service has been great. It was really hard to pick the colors with the fact that Nautique does not let you go with Transom colors anymore but in the end I will think the durability of the deck will look better in the future. The boat is super solid.

Very nice!
I like your cover. I almost got that style but was concerned that the snaps would be too noticable when the cover was off. Do the bow snaps bother anyone riding in the bow ever? I have to put my cover on after each use and really think your type is much more managable. What's your take? Are you happy with it?
Yes I am very happy with the snap situation. I do believe they could design something without snaps. The whole boat snap thing is such a hastle. I have another larger boat and it is annoying having to do the cover. I know people with larger boats that don't use them as much because it is such a hastle to add and take off the cover. usually when I am not using the boat during the day but at the cottage - I put the cover on with 10 snaps so the vinyl does not get UV exposed.

I just posted pics of my new boat and I am over on Lake Rosseau (it's my inlaws place). I bought an '04 Ski 196 from Wayne at Pride. We should get Pride to host a Ski Nautique Owners Assoc. get together.

Thanks Doug. I am picking it up on May 7th so I will ask them about the spring BBQ. My kids had a great time at Pride when we visited last summer.

By the way ask Neil about the XCup events for wakeboarders. Lots of fun for the kids.

I'll keep my eyes open for you and/or your boat! Now that I have seen pictures of it, it will be easy to find.
My kids are 6, 4 and 2 (all boys). None of them have skied yet but my oldest claims that this is his year behind his new boat! I haven't pressured them at all as I want them to do it because they love it....well ok, I pressured them a bit!
I know they would love to watch the XCup event though. Is your son going in it?

They are all older than the worlds youngest skier. Close ages so they can have lots of fun together.
The XCup is a no pressure entry and up level competition. You are grouped by skill not age so it is great for beginners. Lot of give aways from the sponsors at each event. Get a board for your guys and after a run or two they could be competing. The lower novices will just ride the board and slide across the wake. It is a great day.
Jeff entered a few last year as Neil at Pride is one of the organizers. Kyle Rattray has won the last two years and teaches off the Pride dock.
The picture with Shane was at the Halibuton Provincials.
