Well we went to buxton's today and pulled the triger on a 08 230 SAN. Phil and the crew there are awsome!! So happy with the entire process. This is our 4th inboard we have had and our 2nd from buxtons. I will never go any where else. Loaded with every option. We dsecided on the titan 3 tower also.

Why the Titan as oposed to the CC tower? Just curious. Also, how many bills did she come in at if you don't mind me asking. If you do, I totally understand.

I'm seriously considering purchasing a new '08 instead of buying used.

One of my good friends has the 236 with the flight control tower. I was LESS than impressed with it cause of the movement in it. I have had the titan 3 on the malibu and it never moved. I had 8 wake boards, 2 surf boards, 6 towerspeakers and my skyski on it and there was NO movement. I have alot of weight on the tower to say the least.

as for price I would rather not say because of the dealer working such a great deal.

That is a great looking boat. I like that blue. Also I like the titan tower. What kind of trailer? I prefer Ramlin's but I think a Dorsey would look great.

I'm the same way with Ramlin. Have 5 and love them. I don't like the Ramlins 230 trailer. Looks weird

Drooool. Pretty much how I'd order my 230.

Out of curiosity - to you and to Jeff and other lucky ducks...

Is it possible to order the new 08 Super Air Nautiques with JUST the "SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE" lettering without the griffin? In other words is it 2 pieces - one for the griffin and one for the lettering?

I believe that in 99 and/or 98, there was a graphic option for the SAN that had the "SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE" lettering in the same font as what they've used for the Ski Nautique forever, not the cursive style that was far more common for the SAN in that time period. I've actually only seen one example with the lettering I'm describing, and it was on Grant's site and has since been taken down. My sense was that it was rare.

Erik you can order the graphic seperate. I actually went to SWCC to get a price and see if there was anyway that I can put it on an older 210. The lettering is one piece and the other graphic is three pieces. There are two pieces below the rubrail and one piece above. Due to the graphic being so many pieces I figured there was no way that I could ever get it to line up right. The break in the bottom pieces is along a hull line that is only on the newer boats. You dont even want to know what the set will cost. I figured for that much I could get a boat wrap.

You are looking at $1,500 for parts alone. The labor was only quoted to me in a n hourly rate because they still did not know an accurate number. They said they screwed up the first one that they did and really take their time now. He said that its tough to line up the three parts times 2.

I do really like the old Super Air Nautique script, but for that kind of money I think you're right about a wrap. That gives you the ability to play with things a little AND protect the gelcoat underneath.

Well I got good news and bad news. Good news is the boat will be at the dealer tomorrow (11th). The bad news is the guy who was going to buy my malibu cant get appoved for the loan. Oh well I guess I'll have to wait untill someone buys my old boat so I can get my new baby home. Very disapointing!!! Yellow_Flash_Colorz:
