I have an 1992 SN open bow.... any tips on what fold down tower is best, mounting tips? have the dealer do it? I am pretty mechanical and could probably do it myself.. but jeez... drilling holes in my beautiful boat...

I can't find any pictures or contact names of how they did, etc. I checked out Monstertower.com and they had a few CC on there, possibly a 92,93 closed bow.. hard to tell with a tower... tips are what i need...

anyone out there can throw me a wake, i mean wake?

Thanks my fellow nautiquers

I have installed a MonsterTower and it is very very easy....That is the only Tower that I would recommend that was nto a FCT

We had a Titan I put on our Excel. The guys at Titan were great and the tower was more solid than any (Non-FCT) that I've seen. You could powder coat any color and it collapses easily. It was a great addition........

nice lookin rig. So you mounted this yourself. Any tips or just follow the Monster instructions... meaning... measure, then measure again... wait a couple days.... measure again, pray then drill.. wait.. measure again.

How about underneath reenforcement? anything or just a plate that came with the tower?

Thanks again!

Oh, I have an open bow... should still work, but just checkin

We had it mounted, didn't trust my gal to my pseudo-engineering!! The things to note are:
1- angle of deck (Titan is very forgiving-can slope a lot away from center)
2- mounting location (along driver side gunnel is conduit for steering & throttle & wiring -can't hit that!)
3- may need fiberglass reinforcement to flatten surfaces below for backing plates
4- dimensions of mounting & backing plates & ability to get to them (we had to reverse ours to accomodate vents near windshield)
5- ability to collapse and look right at mounting position (look at shameful nautiques post !!!! ARGH!!!)

It made a tremendous addition to the boat but I sweated it for about 1 year!! You will be glad you added it !!

and this is my old boat that I am selling.. dont' want to, but I need a little more room and don't have the time to keep putting into the 84...

It is a Titan Series I Tower (Rock solid)... I will post a picture of another Titan on a Nautique from this site..... (We were quoted $400 to $800 to install from several folks in the Mid-Atlantic area - we spent $350) We had our local MC dealer do it (former CC and MC dealer) ..... no bondo used for this install!!!! The older Series Is are a whole lot cheaper now!!! Contact Scott Sax at Titan - Good guy.........
