Replace Factory CD Player?

Has anyone replaced the factory CD player in their Nautique?

I really, really dislike my factory deck. The one and only thing I like about it that has kept me from changing it is the remote. (I think it looks cool and serves its purpose quite well.)

If you changed the deck, what did you change it to? Do you still have a remote on the driver’s side?

I hear ya, and would love to put a decent real head unit in my boat. The remote is the big thing holding me back. I would like a nice kenwood or alpine unit with a wired remote that can go on the transom or in the dash too. Untill I find one, the clarion will have to stay.
