My 92 nautique is getting alot of oil residue on top of my intake manifold,it builds up just below the carb. I would appreciate any feedback.

Sounds like it's coming out of the throttle shafts.

which carburator do you have? is it bronze type color or is it silver in color?

I GAVE BOLTS ON INTAKE MANIFOLD A TIGHENING.WILL SEE IF THAT WORKS. I AM PLANNING ON GETTING THE CARB REBUILT TOO. ANY GUYS GOOD AT REBUILDING NAUTIQUE CARBS.1992 HOLLEY CARB.

Its pretty easy to do if you have done a holley carb before. Just remember to set your floats properly and don't forget thevent baffle to prevent fuel slosh into the carb on hard accelleration. Clean the carb in laquer thinner because it does not attack the finish. Don't try to match the carb kit to an automotive kit because it does not come up in their cataloge. The PCM part number is RN0120-1 and don't forget the base gaskets.

IMHO, a carb rebuild kit won't repair worn throttle shaft bores.

pull your oil fill and see how much blow by you are getting when the engine is warm.
