My water temp reading on my 2003 Faria gauge reads about 10 degrees higher than my Perfect Pass water temp does. Anyone else have this problem. What can I do to get this consistent?

PP and the onboard water temp guage don't agree either. I used a small hand held to check, PP was the farthest off.

Not sure of what to do to fix it but I can see why the two would be different. The PP reading comes from the paddlewheel (right in the water) and the Faria reading is generally read through the hull from the inside of the boat. If I am not mistaken, it is spliced into the hose that comes from the lake intake and goes to the water strainer.

I seem to remember reading in the documention for the current version of PP software (6.4) that the temperature can be calibrated. Not sure if the temp readout on the speedo can be calibrated or not, but mine seems to read a few degrees higher than the PP also.

You can adjust the water temp reading on your PP to read the same as on the Faria by pressing both the menu and up arrow at the same time(to bring up the temp reading), then press both arrows at the same time (to adjust the temp reading on PP). use the up or down to get the PP reading to read the same as the Faria.
