Going from a 2004 SAN 210 Limited to a 2007 SAN 210 Team. I pick the boat up on Saturday and plan to be on Kerr Lake on Sunday. Will it hurt to load the stock tanks and wakeboard behind it on the first day? I have never purchased a brand new boat so I am not familiar with the break in procedures.

The only thing she is missing is the tower speakers and the amp to power them. The tower is wired so it shouldn't be too hard to add some tower speakers and an amp down the road.

Quite a few shots here: http://www.aarondenny.net/images/new210/index.html

I think they advise against loading the boat down. I know that MC breakin, was 10 hours of time without running at a constant speed. Wakeboarding would by definition be loading the boat up and going the same speed for a long time. Ask your dealer and then follow their directions.

Same colors as my 211. Nice boat!

No need to worry. Just use it like you normally would. (That is the advice I got from my dealer.) I wouldn't put any extra weight in it for the first 10-20 hours though. I don't know how you wakeboard, but when I'm riding - going a constant speed for an extended period of time is not a problem because I fall a lot.

I would follow your dealer's instructions though.

I was under the impression the Defcon III's and 2 channel amp was an add-on in addition to the Team Package. My boat does has the 6 Polk MOMO's, 4 channel amp, and the subwoofer. The tower is wired for speakers and I definitely will add tower speakers.

I can pick up the same amp CC uses for the tower speakers on eBay for $105 new. Hopefully my dealer will cut me a deal on the Defcon III's since this is my second boat I have bought from them. Anyone know the cost for a pair of Defcon III's?

Oh yea, thanks for the compliments on the color. My girlfriend doesn't like the yellow but she ain't paying for it either!

Dude you stole my colours! I was thinking hard about the black top strip with yellow main vs white top stripe, and how the black / red / blue sticker would match, but you've answered all my questions! Yellow rules!

PS - can you give me a measurement from ground to the top of the tower? I'm building a shed and no-one can tell me what height the door should be...!

nautiquenz,

Actually my 210 is midnight blue, yellow, and white. The dark blue matches the the blue in the Super Air Nautique decal perfectly. Black and yellow would look great as well.

I will try to get you some measurements by Monday.

sweet, my 210 is the feature member's boat. I added a pair of Skylon Rubicon 250's to the tower and a second Clarion APX480M. I'll get some pictures up next week.

Great looking boat! I just bought an '07 210 as well (hence my screen name haha). I have the vapor blue/black version.

Quick question for you. I've been looking around for the tower speaker covers, like the ones you have on your website. I also really like the board rack and mirror covers. Where did you get those?

thanks!
John

Speakersox makes the covers. Great products. They keep the bugs off during trailering. I want them to make me a cover for the whole tower and hopefully they will start producing one. I know they have one on their demo boat.

Call Jim Phillips at 707.365.2600. Please let him know that Aaron with the yellow/navy SAN 210 sent you.

Thanks again,

Did you ever get a chance to get a measuerment on the height of your boat on the trailer? I'm looking at a couple of 210s now, but want to make sure it'll fit in my garage.
Thanks!

If you're looking at them, then you might want to take a tape measure with you. You'll find that the height will differ according to what trailer they are sitting on.

From what I've found, a 210 with the Titan tower on a Ramlin trailer will fit in a 7' garage door safely. I haven't found any trailer that will allow the standard FCT to fit in a 7' door. You'll need an 8' door for the FCT 1.

The 08 210 with a TITAN tower will definitely fit in a 7' garage door, i've got pics with a Boatmate trailer. The Flight Control Tower on the 07-08 are taller than 7' folded down. I believe the 03-06 FCT's will also fold down under 7', depending on the trailer manufacturer.
