Don't own one yet, but am strongly considering trading my Malibu for either a 206 or 216. From everything I've seen so far the 206 sure seems like a great choice.

Yeah, 206 is a great boat. I have also heard the 216 is a great all-around boat. I haven't ridden in one yet, though. Let us know what you end up doing! Post Pics!

The 216 is awesome in chop and still skis really well. The wakeboard is ok for recreational skiers. This boat and the 206 is the best in the line up for a mix of skiing and wakeboarding. The boats does everything well. It doesn't specialize in one specific discipline. The 206 is also great. Here is the one thing with the 206: when you sit in the boat on a trailer, the windshield is in your way so you get irritated. Take it for a drive. You will be amazed, your eyes actually fall below the windshield frame where they belong. Awesome boats all the way around.

The wife and I have debated 206 vs 216 to death. I want the performance of the 206 but want the trunk size of the 216, I like the observer seat in the 206 better than the 216, etc. I'll end up with one of them, 206 will probably win out if I can fit my ski in the trunk.

So you want a 68" to fit in the rear trunk? I will try it tonight and let you know.

That would be great...68" HO Phantom, Animal front with RTP if it matters.

Jefe-

Got one down here in good ol' Carbondale! It's a '93 SN decked out for boarding. With a fatseat, it's as good or better than CJ's MC. You need o come down here and school us w/ your boat and moves. Meet us and ride at Kinkaid w/ us some time or meet us up at the Kaskia River! My buddy's wouldn't think of me as a decent boarder any more though!

SKIINXS-
Do they have you going to TableRock this year? Also, do you plan on hitting the DuQuoin tournament?

Pat-
Let me know when you head up to Kaskaskia? I am probably going to be at the DuQuion tournement in late August this year, you when to head on up? I would love to come down and board with you guys C-Dale, maybe I can head down there in August, July is spent for me.

I am going to Table Rock this year. Not sure about Duquoin this weekend, I am not assigned to pull it, but haven't gotten my masters rating yet. I've been skiing 2 and 3 @35 in practice, even ran 2@35 Saturday at Wright City, that would have been the rating in the second round. Too bad Mike cancelled the tournament!

Anyone interested in looking at some pictures of USAWS and INT tournaments this year in MO can go to http://www.printroom.com/pro/skiinxs

Jeff- Agreed. July and most of August is gone. I'll be around for the tourny's though. End of August/Early Sept is best. We actually haven't been to the Kaskaskia yet, but we've heard it is a good time from several people.

No Nautique but have a '75 Southwind 20. Was at Kaskaskia a couple of weeks ago, great skiing, boarding and tubing water. Can get kind of crowded. Water was up and muddy after big rain. You can't beat it for being close to St. Louis.

Here is the MO/Southern IL Ski Nautique Promo for this year. (The one on the left). Yeah I know, it looks exactly like the one on the right, which was my '03 Promo. Same engine (ZR6 6 litre). I haven't had the new one out yet, it is in the shop having a cover made. Maybe next weekend......

Looking for a Southwind owner in the St. Louis area. I have a 1974 Southwind 20 that I need to rescue from Wisconsin. I have a trailer, but i am not sure whether or not it will fit. it had a 1968 Wildcat on it. Any ideas? tonali_iii@hotmail.com
