I got the Heatercraft shower model 1S for X-Mas and thinking about installing it in the next few weeks.
Anyone have any tips or ideas of where to mount the pump and the valve controls? I have a good idea on how to install it, I just want to know where everyone else has mounted the pump and valve controls.

Thanks for your help.
I would also like suggestions. I am almost done installing a heater in the '97 ski and the shower is next I suppose.
So again, where is the best place to mount the pump? And where to mount the shower head (limited options I assume)? And where to put the mixer valves?
Thanks, Jason

I would mount the pump along side the engine. Mount it on the port side right near the engine mount. On the 196 LE, mount the temp valves in the trunk up near the top off to one side. On the 97 ski, mount the pump in the same place and mount the controls off of the side gunnel.
Hope this helps.

SN is right about the 196 and if it's an 03 or later the wires are already there for you to hook it up to. In the bilge you will see wires tied to the stringer, the plug you need has an orange with black tracer wire for positive and a black wire for the ground.

mike196,
Would you mind snapping a few pictures when you add the shower, and maybe doing a quick write-up for the site? I'd really appreciate it! I know it would be helpful to some of our users.
Frost,
I assume the wires are in place in all '03 Nautiques, including Super Airs, right? I might consider adding a shower to mine in the future, and just wanted to make sure the wiring was already there.
