I don't know if you could get one out or in. Those things look like they're put in there permanently.

You have to remove the gas tank to get them in or out. Get some dimensions and plumb in a sack. You'll get more weight and you can remove it when you want.

I would recommend plumbing in a sac as well. I did it on my 2001 SAN. See my wakesiderides profile for more pics and a schematic. Let me know if you have more questions.

I vote for the sac. Removing the gas tank would be a PITA, and a sac will give you more weight as mentioned above.
I have the tank, but would actually prefer a sac. Live and learn.

anyone know how much weight one would gain with the sacs vs the tanks? is it worth going through the trouble of removing them?

I believe the comments above are from people who's boat did not come with the center tank. Originally, the center tank was an option - not sure when they became standard. I doubt removing the center tank in place of a sack would be worth the trouble.
