Very nice! I believe you're the first PlanetNautique member who has a 211 in their hands. Several members have ordered them, but I don't think anyone else has one yet. Glad to see that it came from White Lake. They're a great dealer.

Yea they said they weren't for sure but they were almost 100% positive that we took delivery on the first one in North Carolina. I was really thrilled about it's rough water ride. When we got to White Lake this morning the wind was blowing so hard there were white caps on the lake. The SV-211 took the chop great, it was really a smooth ride. We are going to the river tomorrow and I will take some pics of the wake and post them.

Hey Fatboy,
Welcome to the site and what a beautiful boat! Is this your first Nautique? I am really anxious to see the pictures of the wake. Did you get the loaded up Team Edition? Enjoy it!!

FatBoy

No I got the limited edition. I don't have the ballest tanks. I did add perfect pass a bemini top and a cover.

FatBoy that is a real nice boat. Welcome to the site and lets hear about that hydro-gate when you get a chance!

To answer your other question. This is my first Nautique. I had a 1990, MC Prostar 190. It was a good boat but it does not hold a candle to the 211.

More pics from a day on the river. The first wake is the ski wake and the second is the Wakeboard wake.

FatBoy

The wakes are oppisite of what I said, Wakeboard wake first.

Keep in mind for those wakeboarders out there judging this wakeboard wake.... This is WITHOUT ballast...so you may wanna try to pic what it would be like with an extra 750 lbs...

And I think when you attach pics, it gets reversed.... the bottom one is the slalom wake and the top is the wakeboard wake.... otherwise something would be very wrong...

Very Nice! The wake behind it looks great for both skiing and boarding. I am shocked at the look of the ski wake. The appearance is very identical to the 196 wake. Would be really curious how it feels crossing it. Those colors look great on the lake too!! Have a great time with the boat!

Dont get to pic her up untill next monday. Again great looking ride.

I wish I got mine next Monday, we get it in like 3 months... Our colors are due tomorrow and so far we've narrowed it down to either green or viper blue! And after seeing you boat FatBoy I'm leaning more and more towards the viper blue! Anyway, even though green may be more fun now, I think viper blue is a beautiful color and will look a lot nicer in the long run!!! Yours is definately one of the boats that fit into the "beautiful" catagory!

My wife skied, and rode her old fasioned wakeboard today and my son rode his kneeboard. They were both very happy with the wakes. I have a friend that has a 196, and the ski wake is not a whole lot different. The gate makes a good bit of difference in the wakeboard wake, my wife likes to ride her wakeboard but isn't into a lot of air. She liked the gate in the ski position while she was rideing. My son really liked the difference when I put it in wakeboard mode while he was rideing his kneeboard, he said it gave him a lot more pop off the lip. He got cold and didn't even try his new CWB. He said next time.

Hey FatBoy, can you explain how the optional stern seat works? Is it removable? Does it fold down?

FatBoy
03-09-2004, 08:32 PM
The seat has a lip that hangs over the edge of the built in cooler. The other end has a nice bar underneath that serves as a leg. When the cooler lid/seat is in place it can't be removed. To remove it just lift the cooler seat and lift the seat up and take it out of the boat.

Thanks for the pictures. I am trying to select my 211 colors....

Is that a "vapor blue" stripe on the exterior and interior?

The "Silver Cloud" interior color selector on the Correctcraft.com website suggests that the interior cushions are two toned with a charcoal color close in shade to the carpet? Does your interior color scheme resemble the website "silver cloud"? In your pics the cushions all look white except for the blue stripe.

Any help you could give with color selection information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

FatBoy

The stripe is Viper Blue on the hull and inside the boat. The interior two tone color is charcoal, I would call it kind of a smoke color, I think it looks great. Hope these pictures help.

Thanks for the clarification.

However, the 211 brochure and the color selector on the web site show a much darker charcoal color as part of the interior cushions. Anyone else noticed this?

I wonder why CC didn't offer the 211 with 2 color strips on the interior? I guess they figure the there is only one color on the outside, but count 2 if you consider a colored hull...

Someone asked to see pics of the SV211 wakes. Here on the first page of this thread are some I took a few weeks ago on mine. I do not have the ballests on my boat. The ski wake behind my boat and my buds air 196 are very close.

Air 196? You must mean the Air 206, cuz the ski 196 I don't think can compare to anything else...

Yes my buddy has one. It's a 2001 Air 196.

Oh yeah, thats right. Thats the one they only had for a year or two. Isn't it comporable to the modern Air 206, Ski Nautique Open Bow decked out for wakeboarding???

Air206
03-31-2004, 10:01 PM
Air 196 has Playpen Bow not walkthrough (like SNOBs........ not Sports nor Airs)....

FatBoy
03-31-2004, 10:11 PM
That's right, my friends has the playpen bow.

AbunDiga909
03-31-2004, 10:30 PM
Yeah, but then the changed the SNOB to have a walkthrough and there was that whole big thing about how great that boat was and how its the only ski boat with a walkthough that is competition level. At that point i think they changed the name so it was called the 206 not SNOB anymore... Thats how I view the story, CC may view it differently though.

The boat has changed - it is longer. The Airs' length have changed (ProAir, Air) over the years .... So have Ski Nautiques been different lengths 196, 176's and now 206's. It seems as though the name changes are made to more easily identify hulls and years. You sound like my buddy that calls all skiboats and I/Os "runabouts". Since he sails, anything with a motor and a steering wheel is the all the same. All the rest is meaningless detail.......... CC, Malibu, MC whatever!!! He would not appreciate this site and it's participants! Ha!

Air206, Yeah I see now that my reasoning was totally off, like always... but I still kinda see the connection. Whatever, I understand now... thanks everyone....

And FatBoy, sorry for hijacking your thread

Kool response - You have wisdom beyond your years!

I think we all need to get a pull behind Fatboy's 211 - Are you up to "Taking it on the Road" FatBoy?

FatBoy

I don't know about taking it on the road, but if you come to me I'll give you a tow.

I got my 211 back from White Lake Marine Friday after they installed Perfect Pass, XM Radio, Bimini Top (Tower Bimini's brand), and did the 25 hour service. Man I don't know how I made it all these years without Perfect Pass, that is great. The XM Radio works great, I got the Delpi Skify and I have a docking station in my truck and one in my boat. The top is the best quality top I have seen, I love being strapless.

Great looking boat. I had a real hard time choosing between the 211 or 210. I don't think I could of gone wrong either way but went with 210 because we were looking to wakesurf more. I realy liked all the storage the 211 had and the built in cooler. Good luck with the boat.
