'04 guages for an '02

Will the '03 and '04 gauges work in a 2002, or are they totally diferent, and require a different brain to control them.

I think the new gauges are much better than the LCD ones, but I like everything else about my'02 verses an '04. Especially those knee busters on the deck.

From what I understand the new 2004 guages will not work. All of the guages wire into a central "computer" analog that disseminates the information coming from the engine etc and processes into a digital format for the guages to work.

Contact your Correct Craft dealer this summer to see if new guages are available. Faria will be working on a tach and speed to replace the Teleflex LCD guage as a retrofit kit. Don't know cost yet as we are still encouraging CC to pursue the retrofit as quickly as possible. The guages won't have the LCD readout inside, but thats OK. Better than what we have now.

Sweet, I just think the new electro-mechanicals looks so much better and are so much easier to read. I can see a needle sweeping better than some leds turning of in a sweeping pattern a lot better.

Do you know if they will have the color scheme of the "greyish" '02s or of the newer "tanish" '04s?
