Opinions WANTED!!! What do YOU think?

We have to put our registration letters/numbers on our boat before we go out next. After looking through "member pics" I've seen two main locations (for newer Nauti's with secondary stripe): above the stripe and more aft, or under the stripe and more towerd the the bow. What do YOU think? Under or Over? Thanks!

I vote under, in red and move the Reg. towards the front more and just under the stripe.

I vote under. Then you can follow the contour of the pinstriping and I don't think it looks as odd. Plus over tends to cramp the numbers. Just don't put the numbers over any of the pinstriping because if you happen to scrap it then you'll be doing a pinstrip repair and number replacement.

Glad you asked as I was gonna.... I'm wrestling with the options now too. Here are 3 Nautiques I found with numbers in varied positions:

place 'em under and toward the front like the 3rd boat

That is where my dealer put the numbers, and I think they look good there. PPplus the are a good contrast so I should not have any problems with the officers. I have been checked at least 4 times last year, and they never said anything about the registration numbers.
