I bought this boat from an old roomate back in 2001 who got it from a guy in Alabama. That guy bought it straight from the dealer and was told that it was an "Official Towboat" of the 88 Masters Water Ski Tournament. I tend to believe this little "tale" as the unique CC sticker that is across the stern of the boat. I've never seen it on another 2001 and I know quite a few guys who own one and don't have it. My theory is that it was placed there for the television viewing audience. As the skier was making their slalom run and the camera was following them , the CC logo was in constant view by all. It makes since to me so I just tell it that way. I tried emailing CC to find out it it indeed was a towboat at the Masters but was told that they didn't have records that far back as to official towboats of tournaments. Makes a good story anyway.

She has always been on a lift, or garaged and gets a complete wipe down every time she exits the water. It's only got 678 hrs on it and I installed a cd player and modified the back for speaker locations. It's even UGA red for bonus points. GO Dawgs!!! Sic em'

Hey, Thanks guys. People are very surprised to here me tell them that it is an 88. Non nautique owners think that it is a 2001 and when I tell em that it is an 88. They freak! Just goes to show you that if you take care of it then it will take care of you!

Wow, that is a clean SN2001.

Tell me though....whats with the little plastic toys hanging off the trailer?

Those would be "Gators" hanging from a noose. Being a UGA fan I can't stand the Gators or their former coach "Steve Superior" for that matter. Guess I need to add a Gamecock to the mix.

Felton used to be our basketball coach "WKU". but I do not mind kicking UGA's butt for a few years since we got four home and home games with you all. Looking forward to playing you guys in 2007. We should have a real good team to take to UGA this year.
